Surprisingly great quality and value. Big enough to cook vegetables, pasta, rice or braised dishes. I like that the lid is not glass. This 4-quart deep saute pan is not non-stick. But you can make it non-stick by heating it up properly (Check how-to videos on youtube). I also own all clad skillets 8" and 10". I also own cooks standard 12" skillet. Honestly speaking, I don't see any difference in performance between cooks standard and all-clad. Infact, I like cooks standard handles more. I will buy more pans from this brand. This pan is very easy to clean. For any discoloration or stains, I use Barkeeper's friend.
I wasn't quite sure when I bought it if I would have to return it because for that price, I couldn't believe my eyes. I usually buy high-end pots and pans. I decided to buy this one because it was the perfect size for our beach house to be able to make a large meal, steam some crabs, Make pasta, etc.. The design of this pot is wonderful. It is the perfect height and a nice weight. I could not believe the beautiful double bottom and the lid. I also bought the larger stock pot with the glass lid and that is just as perfect as this one. It's a great value, it should clean well because it is stainless steel and for the price you're getting a high-end pan. I didn't want any handles because of the small space in the kitchen. I am going to use it in and this way, I don't have to worry about a handle getting in the way of a spatula or a spoon, or ending up over the burner. Absolutely worth buying.
Good quality thick metal and good for family cooking daily. Non sticking as compared to other.
