Does what it says. No plugging it in or charging required. It's just a firm, gel-filled pad that is very cool initially. You lay on top of it, it absorbs your body heat, then you move off of it and let it cool off. Read the description - it says what it does %26 it does what it says. Good purchase for me!
A bit pricey
This pretty much works like advertised. I use it to battle night sweats, and it is cool enough that I don't lie directly on it, but cover it with a towel or sheet. It will stay cool for quite a while, and self recharges fairly quickly. It is heavy.
It's the best cooling product I've found yet. It's very light weight, does not require water, and is very easy to maneuver. Very cooling and refreshing!
Don't know how it works but it does! My wife has MS and has body temperature changes. Often uncomfortably hot while trying to sleep. This simple pad really made a difference.
Good quality and size. Just didn't work for him he ended up in small pockets of water, Had to send back.
Definitely cools down without having to use freezer but it is very stiff. Wanted it to work but had to return
Works fine for about 20 mins, then it is like sleeping on a heating pad. It absorbs all your body heat. It is also very heavy so when you get hot it is a production to take it off the bed.
doesn't work. cool only to the touch, but doesn't cool anything when you put your head on it. warms up immediately. waste of time and money, gonna return it.
What a great idea, only cool the area you occupy, passively no less. The world could benefit from such an invention. Only thing I didn't find this to be it. I live in an un air conditioned house in the mid south by choice. However I've found the hot nights recently a bit hard to handle so looked for relief. My sleeping area is well ventilated and usually fans are plenty so i ain't asking for much. The cooling pad description sounded great, stays cool for 2-3 hours.. hahhahaha how about 15 minutes if ambient air is above 85*. Precooling it in the fridge greatly lengthens that but there goes passive plus it strikes me as a bit gross. I'm still experimenting but expect to have a conversation with the manufacturer at some point as I find their claims to be badly exaggerated. I'd be a bit reluctant to return it to the seller after using it but it was a far cry from what I hoped. If someone could develop a product like this that worked I'd be the first in what would be a very, very long line.
