Cool Gear 16oz Absorb Bottle Rainbow

The Cool Gear 16oz Absorb Bottle Rainbow is great! My six year old daughter absolutely loves it and it's perfect for her. She has been using it daily for water throughout the day and night. It is the perfect size. The top easily screws off for cleaning. When using it to drink it's also very easy to snap the lid off so that you can sip. Then it just clicks right back on. The design on it is her favorite part. It's really cute and fun for children or even adults of any age. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone.

I love this cup. I take it everywhere I go with my toddler. Easy to hold perfect for cool drinks. Perfect mouth peice it's a little wide but Nothing a straw can't handle.

Listen. I've got 4 kids, and we're always going through cute kid water bottles. Most of them have built in straws that are just atrocious (they get dirty, they get lost, they are impossible to clean, they quit working, etc.) so I was pleased to try out this bottle with NO STRAW. It has an easy flip open lid at the top my 9 year old can handle, and it's a nice smaller sized opening to drink out of. No straws, no weird crevices to clean, just a simple bottle with a cute design. He carried this on a walk yesterday, drank all the water, and I washed it in the top rack of the dishwasher and it came out fine. If you need a water bottle for kids, I 100% recommend this over anything with a straw. Plus, the design is super cute!

I like that there are no valves and straws to keep up with. It's easy to clean with a bottle brush, but I do wish it had a wider mouth for cleaning (maybe you don't keep bottle brushes around)! This is hand wash only. The flip top has stayed intact through many uses and doesn't leak.

For the price, it's great. I got for my girls 6 and 3.. Not recommended for younger kids. My 3 year old struggles to open and close it. My 6 year old enjoys the fact that her younger siblings can't open her bottle and drink from it lol Cute little bottles. Great buy

Got this for my 8 year old son. The graphics are really bright and detailed. The water bottle is a sufficient size for him to drink and carry. The loop on the lid helps him carry it easier or attach it to his backpack. It is a secure lid and has not leaked since we've been using it. However, it can be difficult for him to open the cap as it clicks in place securely and requires some effort And muscle on his part To open it up.

My 5 year old loves this water bottle. He was so excited it had dinosaurs on it. Opening and closing is still a little touchy for my 5 year old but once he gets it it will be just fine. I feel like this will be a good water bottle for him to learn how to drink and not spill. It has a wider opening but not the whole water bottle which I like. It's a fun water bottle, I would recommend it to my friends.

So lets get right to the big advantages of this product - It's CHEAP! At under a buck, it is by far the cheapest sports bottle you can buy anywhere! This is my 2nd one, and both were purchased for this reason. Now for the disadvantages - It leaks, badly! The flip top is very hard to flip. I gave up and just screw the cap off. The printed decals wash off, and i've only hand washed it. Otherwise, it's great, i mean it's inexpensive!

First off, I like that the tag and barcode sticker on the bottom of the bottle comes off easily and cleanly, no need to clean off sticky gunk off the bottle. I like the llama design; it's cute and definitely made for a girl. I tried dropping it a few times when it was empty and it held up fine. The bottle is made of very lightweight but durable plastic. However, I was too afraid to try dropping it with it full of water but the plastic doesn't seem THAT strong, plus the cap leaves a lot to be desired (I'll get to that later in this review.) I put water into it and shook it and it was leak-proof. There is a rubber seal at the top of the lid to seal it. I don't think the seal is glued on but it's so tight I can't take it out. I haven't used it for a long time yet so I can't say that mold wouldn't grow and get under the rubber seal. Since, I can't remove the seal, I can't clean under or around it. With the cap screwed off, the bottleneck is pretty wide which I like because it makes cleaning with a bottle brush easier. But note that the bottleneck is not so big that you can put your hand in there; more like two fingers. The handle is a flexible plastic. Although it's not as comfortable as a rubber handle; with it full of water, the handle didn't hurt my 5 year old's hands. The bottle is not dishwasher safe. I suspect the design would wash off. It says specifically on the bottom of the bottle "HANDWASH ONLY." The dealbreaker was the lid closure. It's a flimsy snap closure. My 5 year old had to really push down on it to close it. I can also see the plastic closure just snapping off after the plastic gets dry and brittle. I can also imagine my kids dropping it and the closure just popping open. Since this product is clearly made for children, I expect the closure to be easier to close and more reliable. My other child has gone through 3 different types of water bottles (not this one) in just one year. Young kids are careless about their belongings and constantly drop things. This water bottle would not have lasted more than a week in her backpack without drenching all her stuff inside.

These are really hard to open and close for kids. Even I struggle with it sometimes. Got these for school but can not use them because they are so hard to open close. I don't want my kids to have a spil or have go without at school. Spend the extra money to get something else.
