Cool-Living 5,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner with Installation Kit

I was pleasantly surprised by how quick this cool living 5000 btu air conditioner cooled down a 16 by 16 foot room. Its reasonably quiet and very inexpensive to operate. It took 30 minutes to set up, and priced right. Great buy and does what it says. Thanks

When I set the a/c in her room, it was hot, so I put it on the highest cool setting. When she got home from work she went straight to bed. She said when she woke up it was so cold she thought if it was any colder it would snow, so she adjusted it, lol.

We purchased this unit for two of my children's room. Their room faces the biggest part of the sun and is tough to keep cool. Me and my three children put this together and installed it. ( They are early teen years). This is important because it was simple enough that we could do it. You do need a drill/impact driver and screwdriver though. As oon as we plugged it up it began to cool immediately. This keeps their room completely cool. The room is 10x11. It does add a little coolness to the other parts of the house as well. I would say approx 3-4 degrees cooler. I would not suggest to purchase this to cool an entire home. 1-2 rooms yes, and to lower the total temperature by a few degrees yes. We purchased the 3-yr warranty as well

Was so suprised that it blows as cold as it does! My whole room turned into an icebox! Was originally delivered to the wrong address,but thankfully ive got some awesome neighbors. Got it installed 3 days ago and ended up buying 3 more! It sure does pack a punch!

Bought this for my Daughter-in-law for her bedroom. She loves it ! Works great in her bedroom. Cools down the room and even makes it cold for her.

I received the AC and began to take apart things and organize to put together. The manuel was for another similar model but I would've preferred a instruction manual for what I actually purchased. Putting the screws in was a disaster. The screws didn't fit into the holes at all. I had to make it fit and I was afraid that it would break. They needed to make screws that fit their objects. Majority of screws where left behind so I hope it was put together correctly. After finally assembling the AC and ready to put into my window, I noticed that the side shields didn't come all the way out so therefore, I had to cut cardboard to fill in the rest. After that was all done and it was finally set up and ready to run, I can say that this would get 5 stars if I didn't struggle putting it together. The AC cooled the room within a minute. The fan blows perfect. I would only recommend for the performance of the AC but not the struggle of putting it together and the screws that are really important that hardly fit.

I purchaced this just over a month ago and it makes awful noises constantly. Nothing ever happened to it during installation or any other time in order for it to sound like this. It's to the point now where I can't even have it on while sleeping! I would not recommend at all.

Not worth the money. I ordered 2 of this account and installed one. It was horrible. Had it running all day and didn't do anything.... alittle cool but that's about it. Not worth the money. Since the one was installed I kept but the other one was returned. I wouldn't recommend this ac.

I got this air conditioner June 8, 2020 and after a heavy rain storm a few days ago it started making a terrible, loud noise then stopped working all together (August 1, 2020). This is mostly an outdoor appliance so heavy rain shouldn't be an issue. You're only given 30 days to return the air conditioner and it broke in just under 60 days. Now nothing can be done, according to customer service. 30 days isn't a realistic time frame to test out an appliance like this.

Dont buy this. Listen to the reviews. Thats why the return window is such a small amount of time. This company and Walmart should be responsible for these failure air conditioners. Got it end of April installed in June and its now July and it turns on but doesnt kick in. Sounds like its struggling to blow air. Buy another brand.
