This was easy to install and keeps my area in the shade for most of the day and makes it much more comfortable to be out in the Texas sun! The material is super strong and should last for a long time.

I have a small covered patio but the additional shade from the kit has really opened up more space to enjoy. I really like the look of the shade and it seems to be of good quality. No concerns with the integrity of the material so far. Installation is definitely doable but it's helpful to have 2 people. I would recommend this for anyone without a covered patio or anyone needing additional shade off of their existing patio. It's really been a game changer for my family.

I have been looking at different options for some type coverage for the area and let's just say they were way out of my price range. This shade sail is perfect! It's fairly easy to install and the quality is awesome. It actually has a warranty for 15 years. The hardware that is included is very high quality as well. The fabric is heavy duty and keeps the patio nice and shaded. With very little effort I now have a comfy cool patio for my kids and myself to enjoy. Easy to install, amazing quality and an affordable solution for outdoor shade. Highly recommend.

I now own the premium shade Coolaroo sail and it keeps my patio so much cooler. We are now using our patio again. Friends come over and there is plenty of shade under the 16' X 10' sail. Now I keep a few chairs put there for our weekends with BBQ and friends under my new shade!

I've been trying to come up with a solution for my back patio. I've gone through countless of umbrellas that either break or get destroyed by the elements. My husband looked into these kite sails and I'm so happy he did. It's night and day on our patio now, I can actually sit outside at noon and not die! I'm so happy we bought this product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a new home and needed a shaded area to sit by the pool and outdoor kitchen to escape from the hot Texas summer heat! I was looking for options and came upon this Coolaroo rectangle shade kit that included the heavy duty shade fabric and stainless steel fixing hardware. I read the reviews online and saw that Coolaroo's product were highly rated! It does take some planning to install this shade but there are great videos online that explain the installation process. I first attached the stainless steel wall mount rings on the exterior of my house. I had to install 2 posts for the other end. I used aluminum square tubings for long life. I then used the ratchet attachment provided to stretch the shade equally. I used Coolaroo's available stainless steel cables to attached the preinstalled D rings of the shade to the aluminum posts. This shade filters 95% of UV rays. The fabric is high quality and carries 15 year warranty against UV degradation. Additionally, the shade comes in various colors to coordinate with the exterior color of your house or business. The included hardware is constructed of high quality stainless steel. I hope to have many years of enjoyable outdoor fun under this Coolaroo sun shade!! I highly recommend this Coolaroo shade kit!
