[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in the high desert of FLORIDA , where UV levels are intense year-round, this shade has been a great addition. It doesn't block all sunlight, but it does a good job—blocking around 80% and diffusing the rest. On clear, hot days without a breeze, it's still best to stay indoors, but when there's a moderate breeze and it's not extremely hot, this shade creates a very nice spot to relax outdoors. Our patio has no built-in cover, so we used to have to chase the shade just to sit outside. Installing this shade took my husband and me about 20 minutes, and it immediately provided a comfortable shaded area for most of the day—except during the peak heat of summer afternoons. In cooler weather, it's even better. This shade is a great option whether you want a temporary or more permanent solution. It's very easy to set up. You will need a hardware kit—or just grab what you need from the hardware store—for mounting it permanently or seasonally. It's also versatile enough to take camping: just tie it to trees or your camper, and you've got instant shade. The included long ropes on all corners make that easy. Ours has been up all summer and still looks great—no fading or fraying. As the cold weather approaches, I'm getting ready to take it down and store it for the next 6–8 months. It has ties on all 4 sides, and they are actually pretty long, so if you have to make it go further, you can! Lastly, it provides substantial shade. Like good shade. Cool shade. I'm not sure where I want it to stay at the moment, but it was easy to put up and take down and then put up again, lol.

The color is a warm, rich brown that blends beautifully with my outdoor decor. Installation was truly hassle-free—everything needed was included, and it took less than an hour to get it up and secured. The material is high-quality and provides excellent UV protection while still allowing air to circulate, which helps keep the area underneath cooler. It's been through a few windy days already and held up great with no signs of wear or sagging. My only complaint which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is the strings that you tie together are too long in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] while this canopy didn't cover as much area as i thought it appears to be, it seems to be well made. The rope ends of the canopy are pretty long and therefore allowing you to adjust how you need the canopy to be to your liking. Under the sun the canopy did help quiet a bit as i felt cooler standing underneath it, but i think you would eventually feel the sun if you hang out underneath this canopy long enough. the setup will definitely be much easier if you extra person helping you. My setup has so much extra rope slack, so it will look much nicer had i known how to make pretty rope knots. with that said, a quick google search on how to make storage rope knots will do the trick.

This product is made of thick but lightweight material that is easy to hang and provides enough shade to keep us cool in the summer. Even though the sails block out the majority of the sunlight, they still allow air to flow through and keep the area cooler. I like that the company stands by their three year warranty on the product.

The design is what is shown in the pic. It has been lasting with my tropical weather . Installing it was fast and easy. The color goes with what's around with my house .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does its job, it blocks the sun. That being said, the attached ropes are nylon, so knots slip really easily, and the rope started separating really quickly. It's probably a 2-person project to hang, but I managed to do it poorly by myself.

There were so many pulled areas in the material, very poor quality. If they make it through a season I will be surprised. Also, the ties they send are pieces of string, not as pictured.
