A sales lady had a tester and offered me a sample and I've been using it ever since! The scent is a timeless classic if you ask me. It's a crisp light scent that screams aquatic freshness and the essence of the ocean. The Amber base note enrobes the fragrance with sensuality and intensity, and what I like best is that the musk isn't overpowering. Sandalwood makes up the heart note and gives it that masculinity while the top notes of lavender and mint gives it a light burst of freshness to soften it. Together, it's a blend that harmoniously complements the whole. I'll be honest, when it comes to cosmetics, skin care products, and scents, I have my reservations with making purchases from marketplace vendors; it's really a hit and miss with the product being authentic. And most reviewers don't note the vendor they purchased from. Luckily, Walmart provides this in the review header with verified purchases through Walmart. The packaging was intact and the bottle works great. I've seen bad reviews about people not receiving their fragrances and things being damaged, but I didn't experience any of that. In fact, I got my package early, and it is not a dope of clone of the real Davidoff Cool Water. I would recommend this if you enjoy the modern formulation of cool water. However, if you love and crave the original formula, then I'm afraid this smell will be much different. It's reminiscent of the old smell, but it's not the same as it used to be. A lot of the oakmoss and musky smell is gone, but it's still an enjoyable smell.

Its a wonderful fragrance, smells with a freshness of rosemary that lasts all evening long!

4-star as the performance is average. You would need 7-10 sprays on clothes to last long. Great value for a nostalgic or classic scent for running errands, gym wear and after shower fragrance. Aromatically aquatic, clean, soapy, it slightly gives a feel to a barbershop with woody base and mix of lavender and mint. I guess it resembles similarity to Creed Green Irish Tweed.

Wrong size, wrong item Bummer because I was giving it as a gift for Father's Day. -Husband opened it up and it's women's perfume, 3.4 ounce; I paid for men's 6.7 ounce…Very disappointing!

I ordered the cologne, and they sent me after shave. In other words, they give you cat meat instead of venison. stay away will be returning it back!!!
