It washes easily. I aired dried it because I wanted the inside liner to not be exposed to any more heat than necessary even though I believe that it can be machine dried on low heat. I couldn't be happier with my purchase or the protector and my Coop pillow. I have recommended it my friends and relatives.

The waterproof layer works great and keeps the pillow fresh without trapping heat. A bit pricier than basic options, but definitely worth it for the comfort and quality.
