I loved the copper egg until I tried to use them. The tops don't fit well %26 one was loose enough for water to get in %26 came off as I lifted out of the pan. Mine did not slide out on its own. I did wash them before I used them in soapy water. I will not recommend to anyone without a warning but I will oil the egg %26 try again. Maybe the tops will tighten with use in the heat %26 an oil rub is no problem. Disappointed, but still like the copper eggs.
