they are very comfortable and give me extra support in my arches
Have ordered these several times and will continue to. They fit just right in the right places.
Nice and colorful pairs of copper defense socks. I've been interested in copper infused things for years and I like how these socks are made in that fashion. They're sort of like a medium weight dress sock, as far as thickness goes. You can definitely wear them with any shoes. They're soft and comfortable and they've got plenty of elastic in them to keep them from riding down. I'm quite pleased with them and would highly recommend them to anyone.
These socks branded as copper defense arrived just in time as the previous pair was getting worn out. It mentions copper ion yarn tech but sounds more like a marketing gimmick with copper color on some parts of the sock to give the illusion that it's made with copper. This comes as a twin pack of three pairs in each pack. I got a size 6-12 which fits just right. This styling is a crew style which I like. There are other styles like low-cut, and ankle length styles as well. The packaging mentions all the things you want with socks such as moisture management reach, antimicrobial protection, cushioned sole, arch support, and reinforced heel-toe areas. It's too soon to say it does all those things but time will tell. After the initial wash, there was no fading or any defects that were noticed. Hope they last a while. It fits well, and after wearing it all day, there are no complaints. It's not tight, it's not loose, so it hits the goldilocks zone where it's just right. There are no odors after a long day and my feet are still dry. Overall, these socks are great for everyday wear. Highly recommended.
I'm used to the 'Brand name' copper socks. Expensive. Thick things. I got these thinking they'd be like those. They are actually thinner than those, not as fuzzy, but that isn't a bad thing. So far, except for the extreme cold, these work just as good, if not better than the big fuzzy ones with copper peices sticking out. They keep my feet warm, keep them dry, and not too hot. It did take a few to adjust to the 'thin-ness' of these, but that was the only problem I've ran into with these. They are also nice and snug. I'm diabetic, and before this, wore a sort of psuedo compression sock, and these feel similar to those. Overall, amazing socks, and I will be buying more.
Main thing is that it's comfortable for the most part. i don't feel the stitching on the toes. it's a soft material that is also warm enough in California winter. there are 2 minor cons if they even matter: i don't like the branding of copper defense written on the toes and the calves are a little tight. the branding will be hidden almost all the time inside shoes and the tightness prevents socks from falling down and some prefer them that way
cannot rate because have not received them yet
As soft and comfortable these socks feel, they are on the thinner side. They have a heavyweight look yet are light weight. They don't cut the circulation on my calf's which is huge for me. If you're looking for a lightweight sock that look unique so they don't get mixed up with other socks these are for you. If you're looking for warm winter socks I won't recommend these to you. As for the copper defense craze happening these days, I personally would recommend finding a sock with at least 40% merino wool materials used in it. These do not have merino wool in them. They are however better than the typical brands of socks around the $20 price point for 3 pairs.
Copper defense crew socks come with 3 pair, are black and have an easy to read writing on foot of sock to distinguish it's copper. The socks are comfortable, look good, and stay up around the calf. They come nicely packaged with easy to read packaging.
So these are nice sock, very well made, comfortable to wear. But with all that said, I think te copper is just a gimmick. There is a lot of marketing around the copper, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I received this item as a part of a review program.
