I knew Coppertone for adults . In my last purchase I also bought two bottles of Coppertone for Kids. My kids usually complain with sunscreen texture and try to avoid as much as possible. Coppertone Kids texture is light enough, makes no reaction in their skin and I feel confident using it in their skin, Quality product !
Ever since I could remember, my family has been using sunblock from Coppertone during trips to the beach and family fun days under the sun. As an adult, I have tried several brands of sunblock through the years. But because of the great quality of Coppertone, I find myself coming back many times over. Some brands use harsh ingredients that are banned in some countries. I thought I'd try the Kids version, which I figured would have high coverage, but milder elements. The size of the bottle is also pretty substantial. Also, the packaging and color scheme is quite cute.
Good as expected as with other coppertone products the family has been using. This one appears to be an effective everyday sunscreen without all the harmful ingredients that is in other brands of sunscreens. It's not too greasy but easy to spread and can be used on the face.
I tried a kids mineral sunscreen the other day and it was really awesome! Mineral sunscreen is different from regular sunscreen because it uses natural ingredients like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide to protect your skin from the sun. One thing I liked about this sunscreen was that it didn't sting my eyes like some other sunscreens do. Sometimes when I swim or play outside, regular sunscreen can get in my eyes and it really hurts. But this mineral sunscreen didn't bother my eyes at all. Another thing I liked about this sunscreen was that it was easy to apply. It came in a spray bottle, and I just had to spray it on my skin and rub it in. It was fast and didn't leave any white residue like some other mineral sunscreens can. I also like that this sunscreen is good for my skin. Mineral sunscreen doesn't have any chemicals that can be harmful to my skin or the environment, so I feel good about using it. Overall, I think this kids mineral sunscreen is a really good choice for anyone who wants to protect their skin from the sun. It's easy to apply, doesn't sting your eyes, and it's good for your skin and the environment. the pakage and size is alright.
This sunscreen works well as an everyday sunscreen for working outdoors. It does leave a white cast like almost all mineral sunscreens, but it's not as hard to rub in as some. If you go through a lot of sunscreen and you're sensitive to chemical sunscreens, this is a great, affordable option.
This is the best zinc-based sunscreen we have found in years. Family members wearing this who forgot to reapply after being in the pool for 2 hrs...no burn. Family members using a popular zinc brand (more costly) in same circumstances got burnt. We have used this sunscreen all summer since with no issues, even at the beach. Also, it blends in well for a zinc product. We do tan with it on...I know that matters to some people.
It's such a great deal for a huge bottle of mineral sunscreen. I use the product for my face and body everyday. Since I live in a tropical country, the white cast of this sunscreen disappears faster than I expected, so it looks quite natural after 20 minutes. Because of that, I wouldn't say it's a tone up type of suncreen and is suitable for those looking for a natural look.
I like to only use mineral sunscreen and decided to give this one a try. So far, I like it. It was a good price for the size. Like most mineral sunscreens, it takes a bit of time to rub it in. I haven't noticed any white leftover after I finished and was able to use this on my face under my make up.
To be honest, I was hesitant to order this product after I read one star reviews. However, I decided to try it. Turned out, it's a nice sunscreen lotion. No bad smell, first of all. It doesn't have any scent. Like most of the mineral sunscreens, Coppertone leaves a bit of a shine on your face, but it's not super greasy. It all depends on the amount of applied products. Don't need a lot, by the way. It's typical for people with darker skin to have some white cast, but it's barely noticeable on white or pale skin. It also should be well spread on the skin, slightly rubbed to eliminate white cast. Some of the negative reviews mentioned that this product is not working. Well, it is working if it's reapplied every 80 minutes! Sometimes we just don't notice how the time goes by and forget to reapply, or we reapply hours later. I use this sunscreen as well as my kids.
The sunscreen texture is runny and not thick or greasy. No allergies but I prone to get whitehead or blackhead when I use it on my face - it feels comedogenic. Nevertheless coppertone is a fairly good brand and I can still use on the body. Easy to spread with a bit of white cast that will fades throughout the day. Sun protection benefit works fine and hands down this sunscreen price is the best deal.
