Purchased for vacation and went through the whole bottle. It protects from sun exposure and turned my skin brown.

Good for tanning and smells great

I love Coppertone and is always my preferred summer lotion.

Coppertone, always been and always will be my favorite. Smell takes me back to the beach, flipflops, floppy hats, big sunglasses, and boom boxes. 1980s .....

loved the old school fragrance. only four stars though because it's not exactly the same fragrance strength and doesn't last as long. that's the reason why I bought this. you can't find anything on the market that smells like the old school coppertone except for a handful of high-end products. like the many others said, listen to your customers. why can't anything above your spf15 be scented like it used to be. there's a lot of request for it! they even sell perfumes and body sprays that smell like it. there is a demand. so, what's the issue. everything else on the market smells like chemicals, even the mineral type. I really want SPF 30. I believe in the protection. but I bought this 15 to use at the end of the season when the UV index is half, and I already have some color. I just wanted the fragrance. but I wouldn't risk using 15 in early to mid-summer. Ranting aside, it goes on well, it's not greasy so I can use it on my face as well, it's waterproof, it moisturizes, it protects. it does what it's supposed to do.

If you're looking for the ORIGINAL Coppertone texture, aroma. and coverage... you won't find it in their 2026 product line. The ORIGINAL Coppertone was perfect in every sense back in the 60's, 70's, and 80's... but somewhere along the line they made the unfortunate decision to water down the emollient and chemically alter it, making it practically unrecognizable as a Coppertone product. Of course, many of you will say that I'm simply a sentimental old fool, a senior citizen... retired surfer who just refuses to change with the times, and you'd be right. But keep in mind that most products 'back in the day' did the job without unnecessary chemical additives, unnecessary price increases, and unnecessary extravagant false advertising. AND, those companies made incredible fortunes. But, those days are long gone, and in my mind, so is Coppertone's once highly-respected reputation. I haven't bought Coppertone in yearssss! But i couldn't firget how much i lovec that Coppertone smell when i was younger %26 used it!! So i was determined to get that this summer...if i bought any at all!! Then, i received it %26 ut smelled nit even close to what it was used too. 😩 I was so let down! I can sunscreen from sny of the others....but i couldn't get the Coppertone Tanning lotion/ oil fragrance! 💖 And now... Coppertone doesnt have ut any longer 😔 So sad. But that's the ONLY reason that i gave ut 2 stars. **Coppertone - please bring back the fragrance of yearsss ago 💖

This order was a store pick up - when I went to use it - found the bottle 3/4 full. Please ask the store clerk - if item feels light - select another one. I did not bring back to the store - hard to prove - but when paying full price - EXPECT A FULL BOTTLE
