A March 7, 2026

I have tried multiple times to use. The tampon comes out when I pull out the applicator even when I know I inserted all the way. Especially on the super one. This has not happened with other companies from Kotex, playtex, honey pot, other organic.

A BPA applicator would be better than this

Emily February 25, 2026

If this applicator is the best you can do without bpa, then just give me the toxic ones. It’s flimsy and hard to use. Majority of the time I can’t get the tampon all the way inserted because it gets stuck in the applicator. Every time I use it I get pinched down there without fail. Everything else seems to be fine with these, but I’m going back to the toxic ones. These were the first organic cotton tampons I tried as I was trying to move away from the risky ones, but these aren’t really worth it in my opinion.

I used to love these tampons... they were the best option a woman could get these days. still not 100% "healthy" for the body but science just doesn't care enough about women to make sure they stop poisoning even organic tampons..... but they changed the construction when they made the new applicators.... the old ones were much more absorbent .... these new ones are more like tampex sport 360 that fail to do as advertised (iykyk) and I just fine them so disappointing now. they're not as "fluffy" as they used to be... now theyre more tightly packed and do not swell when absorbing. theres just no better way to put it. anyone who uses tampons should get my meaning. picture trying to plug a leak with a rag vs an insulated foam... very upset with cora for the change.

Dissatisfied

mama November 15, 2025

The only thing I liked about these were that they are organic. These are horrible. Huge, flimsy applicator. Difficult to insert properly. Will never buy again.

Are these applicators a joke?

Anonymous November 19, 2025

I like the brand and the ingredients, but the applicators are seriously a joke! I have never gotten a single one to work correctly! Returned the box to the store

I have been using Cora tampons for years and loved them. The new applicator is awful. It does not effectively discharge the tampon from the applicator. There’s a reason the travel sized tampons suck, because the collapsing, flimsy applicator rods are not strong enough to effectively discharge the tampon. After wasting several tampons, I gave up and had to throw out the box. Such a waste of money. So frustrating that I will now have to find a new brand to use because they discontinued their old design.

Useless, faulty applicators

Lisa May 1, 2026

The applicators do not function as they should to insert the tampon. The old applicators were also hard to use and faulty sometimes, but the new updated "click" applicators are even worse. The tampon will partially come out of the applicator when pushed but won't actually release from the applicator, making it useless. Have had to throw away plenty of unused tampons due to the faulty applicators which makes these already expensive tampons a waste of money. Used to like these due to the natural ingredients, but can't reccomend buying this unusable product until the brand changes the applicator design (again).

Don’t Bother

SASHA September 6, 2025

Applicator is barely functional. Has more “failures to deploy” than successful ones. Waste of money. Definitely need a redesign on the applicator, especially with the high price point on these. Absolutely not worth it.

Applicator now so thin and hard to insert

Kristie July 7, 2025

This company started making the applicators slightly thinner and they are now very difficult to insert. They are expensive and now just not worth it. I waste so many.

TRACEY May 7, 2026

Why why why would they change the applicator. The only reason I would pay $11 for these is because of the applicator. After kotex discontinued the ones with the similar applicator I had to switch to these. Now the design makes it harder to push the tampon out. I feel like they only design tampons with one person and body type in mind. All of these brands make these skinny applicators that not everyone can use. There are many options and sizes for pads why aren't there different sizes for the applicators of tampons.
