Can't believe how simple and easy this thing is to use. I have two aquariums I've been scrubbing algae off with blue scrubbers. That works, but this takes the algae off in no time at all! Really impressed.
This the an amazing scraper before I had nasty brown stuck on algae and now my tank looks so clear and beautiful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This handy little tool is great between water changes or on pond type set ups for algae removal. It comes with a long handle to reach areas. It has a metal blade and a plastic one for different surfaces. It really made a difference is n my sons tank.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 aquariums and have tried all manner of different scrapers, but this little one is really good. 2 of the tanks are freshwater planted with high light levels so I scrape algae growth off the glass a couple times a week, and it's much wider than others I have used and really speeds up the job. I don't have an acrylic aquarium that would require the plastic scraper, but I found it worked very well for run of the mill algae, but I did need to use the metal one for the crusty stuff. The short handle made it good for precise work, but it did mean my hand was in the water. No big deal though, I'm gonna have my hand in the water for cleaning anyway.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When adding a new light and adjusting ferts, my tank had quite an algae bloom. The shrimp tried hard, but they still needed some assistance. This scraper is easy to use, straightforward in design, and does exactly what it should, removes algae from glass in a swipe. The steel blade leaves nothing behind, even Nerite eggs come off!! Well done. Great product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Aqueon ProScraper is a fantastic little tool for keeping the algae off the sides of my aquarium. It works so much better the brush style algae removers. I was a little concerned with the short handle but I don't know if a longer handle would provide the leverage needed for scraping. I used both the plastic and the medal blades but I think the metal blade worked better, it is super easy to switch them out. Maybe the plastic one would be better for a plastic aquarium. The scraper definitely performed as expected.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this product is amazing! My fishtank glass was loaded with algae, and this scraper made my life easier! It was so easy to use and saved me so much time cleaning my tank. If you have fish, this product is something you should invest in, makes cleaning the tank so much easier! I have the short version of this, but this one is my favorite one! This one extendes from 16" to 25" and I love that!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for free and it's a amazing I could not believe how easy it is to use and how easy it works best I've used or seen looking for a good scraper this one is the best! It woks and fits perfectly in your hands
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works perfectly on both parts of my aquarium. Some areas of my aquarium are very delicate and prone to scratching, so for that I use the very useful plastic blade, and for the tough parts that need some good elbow grease, I use the rust resistant stainless steel blade. This entire scraper is built to last, and very comfortable in my grip. Very useful and efficient.
Doesn't clean as well as I hoped
