You get what you pay for. Doesn't fit in some of the dropper style paint bottles, but in the standard hobby paint bottles it works fantastic
When I first saw this mixer, I thought " Well Whoop-te-dooo!" How can that little "flower" tip do anything serious as to mixing paint?!!? But then I remembered just how difficult it is to get the little clumps of thick paint in a tiny bottle. So I bought one. Amazing how QUICK, it completely mixed it ALL up!!! Now I use it every time, and love it!!! Get one, it IS worth it !!!
A nifty little item, it does what its supposed to do up to a point. Keep in mind it's only a can motor with an extension on it, at the end of which is an agitator. It was happy enough when I tried it on acrylic paint that had been standing for a while. However on oil based paints (Humbrol and another) it stalled until a lighter touch and a drop or two of solvent were added. It's not perfect. but it's way better than doing it by hand with a stick. How long it lasts is yet to be seen, but it's cheap enough and usable.
This mixer was just as advertised. No bells or whistles just a plain high speed mixer. If your a fine scale hobbiest with a lot of small paint containers this will rejuvenate separated paint in a with the press of the button. I would highly recommend this to any hobbiest because it works and only uses one battery. What more could you ask for the price.
This Mixer works very well. It has been a Godsend and was the only mixer the hospital would let me use. I'm on my second one now. The first one got stolen.
Works as designed.
The bit could have been longer as it does not reach to the bottom of a Folk Art bottle. Also the bit falls off easily when in use.
I like the device for mixing paint but the power button is very iffy. Takes a lot of pressure on the switch to make it work and even then it is intermittent.
The mixer that you extend into the handpiece does not stay secure. Disappointing.
Batteries very hard to put in and take out. Did not mix the paint very well either. Still clumpy
