I lost my first one but I like these much better because they show some white on the top which is one of the reasons I think I lost my first one because it was all black so I bought two of these. they are very easy to use, lightweight, easy to store. I could go on and on.

For a single step, step stool it is awesome. I love everything about it....my favorite is that I can pet my favorite feral cat without falling on the ground. And when she is done getting loves I can just grab it by the handle it automatically folds up into its thinnest self and I can set it just inside the door... it is so light I have no problems lifting it and the stool holds up up 300 pounds... If i felt the need to use it as a step to reach something.... it has a slip resistant top.... it was perfect for the value conscious mind.

Pretty sturdy for me and I have balance issues. This is a cute design. It is just under 2 feet tall and helps short people that need to reach in kitchens. It is collapsible.

I love the larger area to stabd on. It is very sturdy and holds someone over 220 lbs. easily. The product says it holds up to 300 lvs. I if also foldable to keep out of the way. It is a very good product. I w ould recommend this to everyone.

i bought two of these thinking it was like others i had bought from walmart in the past. wrong! this stool is really wobbly and doesn't stay fully open even when clicked into place. i have arthritis and need a lower stool. this one is extremely hard for me to step up onto because its so tall and also with the fact that it wobbles i am scared to use it. i'm very disappointed and will be returning this.

Step stool is so hard to snap open. It has a longer step area, not wider, which makes the middle a little flimsy. After standing on it for 2-3 minutes, you can tell there's not a lot of support for the middle of your feet(arches). It just bends in the middle making it so uncomfortable to use. Opening and closing it is a pain. I have to flip mine upside down and pull the sides out, while pushing down so the stool locks in place. I gave it 2 stars because it is compact-ish and the handle is nice. I should have gotten the cosco stool like I had planned on.

I purchased a “Core Pacific Extra Wide Folding Step Stool Black 12.7 inch with Non-Slip Surface” on April 13, 2025 for $14.98. One of the hinges broke while I was using it. It is rated for 300 pounds and I weigh 140 pounds. I usually don't bother to register items that are this inexpensive and I believe are well designed and made. However this broke so I registered it at the Core Pacific web site (https://www.corepacificinc.com/welcome) 0n August 7, 2025 and filed a warranty claim (form from the company web site) the same day with a picture of the broken hinge. I waited over 5 business days for a response from Core Pacific by email, voice mail, or phone call to no avail. As a result of this lack of support I do not recommend this item be purchased. There are cheaper alternatives. By the way the Walmart web site in “About this item” write-up says it has a “Lifetime Warranty” where below it under “About this item” and “warranty” it says “1 Year Limited Warranty.” There is no product warranty information on the company web site.

This folding stepstool is frustrating to use. It constantly comes apart when I move it from one spot to another, and opening it is a struggle. It won't stay firmly in place unless I step on it first, which makes it feel unstable and inconvenient. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Not nearly sturdy as it states. It bowed when my 200 lb son stepped on it and it states it will hold up to 250/300 lb. Does fold neatly away. Will be returning.
