Core Products Abdominal Binder, 12" - Small/Medium

After major abdominal surgery, I needed some support around my stomach. Walking, bending over and general movement was very painful. I needed help. I have been using the Abdominal Binder Semi-Universal for several weeks. It does a great job of supporting and containing. Even though I don't have a large body, I'm glad that I ordered the Large size. It is totally adjustable to fit your particular physique and having the Large size makes wearing it outside your clothing an option. You can adjust how tight it fits to suit your own comfort level. I would definitely recommend this product and I love that it is made in the U.S.A.

Op 3 juni geopereerd aan buikwandbreuk en navelbreuk. Meteen na de operatie deze band om door chirurg. Ik merkte er in 1e instantie niets van (.....), met andere woorden de band zat meteen goed. Met afstand de beste band die er is.

The quality and fit of this product is outstanding. Other binders are stiff and uncomfortable and this product is soft on the skin. It washes wonderfully and is hung to dry. Repeat customer already and will all buy in the future.

WELL MADE RUN A LITTLE SMALL GET THE NEXT SIZE

Considering this is only held on by velcro it is very snug and doesn't slip up or down when I am wearing it.

Just a bit too bulky to wear under clothes. Also, I have a very short torso, so its way too wide and hurts to wear. Had to return.

This binder is ok and will work probably great for upper abdominal surgeries. If you've had lower abdominal surgery (hernia), then you'll probably want a more sturdy, supportive binder. This binder is half elastic and half material. Not very supportive for lower support on abdomen at all. It does say made in the USA on it if that matters to you. If you need a binder because your unsure of your size, or you need one that comes partially down around your hips and fits to your bodies curves, get a ProCare Premium all elastic binder. It will give you a lot more support. It will last longer then this type of partial binder that is half elastic. This is an ok binder and will work if you just need a temporary binder. This binder runs SMALL! I'm 5'8” 178 needing a binder to go over my hip area as well. I bought a sm/med size in this binder. It barely fit me. Price wise, both binders cost the same unless you need to get a larger one. I'm having to return this one because I need a binder with more support. This one just feels too weak. I'm going for a binder all elastic 12” panel. Anything less then a 12” panel won't work for anyone needing a binder to give support in the very lower abdomen/pelvis area. Hope this helps in making your decision in buying what you need.

I love this binder but I'll have to say it only lasts about a month. I have ordered about six so far. Really work well but the Velcro sticks to the fabric really tight, which is good, but enables it to fall apart. I will still order them as this is the best I have found even though it doesn't last long.
