Core Products Dual Comfort Corpak Hot and Cold Therapy - Jaw Wrap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like that this one product can be used both hot and cold. It fits well under and around the jaw and stays in place with the Velcro pieces. (They attach on the dark blue side). Instructions are right on the product so nothing to lose. The heat is very calming and relaxing and helps ease the jaw. Frozen I can see how it would relieve pain. No need for additional towels or cloths as the material this is made of is comfortable on the skin. This is a great product for any type of jaw issue. Due to the versatility and size of the pack, I'm sure it can be used any time the need arises for a hot or cold pack too.

I wanted this wrap because of migraines but today I had a procedure on my jaw and was in terrible pain. When I got home I put on my very easy to use Dual Comfort CorPak Jaw Wrap and was so surprised in how it helped me. The pain was greatly reduced and I was able to get some sleeep

As a long-time teeth grinder and migraine sufferer, I often use other Core Ice Packs on my jaw/neck/head. The targeted relief of this Jaw Wrap is fantastic. It is a bit heavy, causing strain on my neck, but this is alleviated by laying down during use. I also found I could use the pack across my eyes during a migraine, or across the occiputs of the back of my head to relieve a tension headache. This wrap has a key place in my freezer and pain relief options now!

It is perfectly designed to fit perfectly around my jaw area. I like how the strap holds it in place. This definitely helps soothe pain.

I was given this product free of charge to test in exchange for my review. My opinions of the product are not influenced by Core Products. The jaw wrap is easy to put on by yourself. It is a bit heavy but does not get in the way of wearing. When using as an ice pack it is a bit cold on the ears but not unbearable. I think I would prefer if the pack was a little shorter in length. I prefer the heat version for tmj pain. The jaw wrap does its job and is a nice “Hands Free” option for icing or heating my jaw. I will continue to use the product and would recommend it to others. I've used other items from Core Products and this like the others does not disappoint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new CorPak jaw wrap. I grind my teeth in my sleep and usually wake up with a headache and sore jaw. Paired the Jaw Wrap with the Eye Mask and it was bliss. Used it for ~5 minutes each morning and felt so much better throughout the day. The only thing is I wish the CorPak jaw wrap came in a smaller size. My ears get really cold. Wrapped a cloth napkin around the ends and that helps with the cold ears.

However, we have been having 110+ temperatures for a couple of weeks now and this works great around my neck to cool down, especially when coming in from outside. I haven't needed to try the heat feature yet but there seem to be so many uses for this...it's great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a Dual Comfort Jaw wrap this past week to review. I am a middle aged male that grinds my teeth and suffers from chronic migraine headaches. The packaging and the quality of the wrap is nice. I put the wrap in my deep freezer which I keep at 0 degrees Fahrenheit. The next morning I tried the wrap. It has nice flexibility for being so cold. It works extremely well on chiling and stopping the jaw pain. I did find it was so cold that I had to take the wrap off and wrap it in a t-shirt to reduce the bite of the cold on the skin. A few days later I had a migraine. I used the Dual Comfort Jaw Wrap again. I wrapped it in a t-shirt, put it on, and laid down to relax. After 15 minutes it seemed to help relieve some of the migraine pain in my temples. I tried moving the wrap to wear it like a hat to cover my occipital nerves on the back of my head. This seemed to work very well for my migraine. This wrap is easy to adjust and wear. Buy one you won't regret.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tend to suffer from a light migraine and my neck is always tired by 5:00 o'clock. I used the Corpak jaw wrap and it's a blessing. It's adjustable, easy to use. I even used on the back of my head and neck and I tell you, after 20 mins I was resting very comfortably. It's a little heavy, so I recommend to lay down while using it. Thumbs up!

Works as you would expect an ice pack to work but with added benefits. The strap helps keep it in place, which is always a challenge getting ice packs to not slide away from the treatment area for migraines. I often get jaw pain along with pain in the forehead, temple and back of neck. This covers the jaw and temple pain in one pack vs having many ice packs. The darker blue side is slow release and it definitely didn't send a blast of cold air that was intolerable like other ice packs. Usually I have to wrap a kitchen towel 3 times around others to not freeze my skin. An improvement that would make it even better would be to make strap stick on both sides. The straps only stick to the dark blue side, which was the side I preferred to not get too cold. But this means the straps are now facing your skin and they are scratchy and noisy (intensified when a migraine is in progress). Having the straps on the inside also meant the band wasn't holding the top portion of the pack in place so those ends would flop down, making the pack heavy and wouldn't allow full coverage of the desired area. Overall, I would still recommend.
