Many years of playing hockey had damaged my elbow tendons. In just a few weeks the massage roller can begin repairing 'golf elbow'. How? I had spinal fusion surgery of Lumbar 2-5 on Sept. 1, 214 and after tha surgery L5 fractured and i was immobile for 3 months. My legs and back muscles became very weak and tended to be very tight. I used the Omni Ball mostly to loosen and massage the hamstrings and calf muscles. The results were great and I admit surprising. I am a 68 year skeptic by birth so I am extremely happy with the Omni Ball; so much so I now own three and I always have one with me. Well worth the cost.

Hi For those of us with sore products I highly recommend the Omni Roller. It really gets into the muscle knots and avoids getting sore thumbs and knuckles, and is very portable (take it on holidays) and inexpensive enough to have multiples (ie keep one at home, one in the car and another at work). Bought one of these on a whim, from a local place that sold them by the checkout. It seems to work pretty good on my wife's upper back area and is a lot easier than using my hands.

I've been lifting weights for a while & asking my wife to massage out the soreness. She complained about her hands hurting & not being strong enough. So, I bought three of these. She doesn't hesitate to use them & they work much better than her fragile hands. I have two on the night stand so she can massage me in the morning & one by my recliner. They're not cheap but the quality is worth the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My friend had one of these, but it's the solid white base, which is now discontinued and i loved it and ordered one for myself. What I got was the solid, black base version. This one appears to have the roller set into the base more or differently than the solid white base and I hate mine. When I use it, it either pinches my skin or gets caught in my clothes and it's really disappointing since I had such a good experience initially. Whatever the difference in this base is, it sucks and now it's not something that I'll use because of the discomfort/hassle of constantly having to either correct it or not use it because it hurts me more than the pain I'm in. It's really disappointing.
