CORN NUTS Chile Picante Con Limon Crunchy Corn Kernels Flavored Nuts Snack, 1.7 oz Plastic Pouch (Pack of 18)

Ranch is often one of my favorite flavors and that's also true with corn nuts. There is so much flavor to these and it's delicious creamy ranch goodness. I like this flavor because it's less salty than original. These are just as crunchy as any other corn nuts flavor. After a couple handfuls I found myself wanting more of these, so they are slightly addictive! The kids liked them also.

This was my first time ever getting to try another flavor Corn Nut besides the OG and let me tell you..this is probably my FAVE one! Nice and savory just as if you had sprinkled and dusted them with a single dry ranch pack not too overwhelming where you need a drink to help wash down some salty mess. It wakes up your taste buds if you're having it as a mid-day slump snack.

My youngest daughter wanted to try it but was scared. I told her that if she likes ranch doritos that she would live these. She tried the ranch flavor and said it was the best flavor. She then took it and I have yet to see the bag. I'm assuming it will now be a needed snack.

I am a big fan of popcorn but I have to admit, I usually avoid the crunchy unpopped kernels at the bottom of the bag! I haven't tried Corn Nuts before so this was a new experience for me. I found the crunch to be a little harsh, I was worried I was going to break my teeth! I enjoyed this chili picante flavor a lot. Very limey, just enough spice, but I have a high spice tolerance so I would have liked more! These were quite tasty!

I have been eating these snacks since I was a kid. I am in my 30s now. Always have loved these simple snacks. The original flavor is great for people who just want a fried, lightly salty corn, tasting hard kernel. The only thing that could be a negative is these are not recommended for people with sensitive teeth, or crowns. They are a bit hard, but that's part of their appeal. I have tried corn nuts from a local farmers market, and found softer ones. That still doesn't make me give any less than 5/5. Easily top 5 favorite snacks.

Chile picante was not as great as I would have hoped-for. Very similar in taste to those Mexican chile and limon peanuts. It could just be that my palate has already familiarized this taste with peanuts, that it will not give anything else a chance. The crunch was great but this flavor just did not make my mouth as happy as their Ranch or OG flavored Corn Nuts. I might have to give it a second chance in the near future.

These nuts have a nice savory flavor to them, I wouldn't say they taste like ranch, if I had to rate the ranchiness it would be a 6 out 10. The crunch was there and is nice if you enjoy it, however, if you have sensitive teeth I would be very careful eating these as they are pretty hard. A creative way I would use this for is for a party, if I was making some dip or a salad, I would crush it up and top those with bits of these corn nuts to add a good texture without the person having to exert much for to get a crunch. I would buy these and I would recommend them to my family because they are a good go to snack in moderation

The original corn nuts are definitely the OG and I do really like them but I'm such a flavor girl so I prefer the other flavors more. But I do love these and they kind of taste like Fritos. No other brand compares to corn nuts. They just have that flavor and that crunch that you really expect with that type of snack.

Received on 2/26 and the expiration date is 2/17!
