Absolutely perfect. The OG Corn Nuts have a taste and crunch that you just can't replicate. It makes for an excellent snack that you can just grab and be out the door with. This particular batch of Corn Nuts wasn't too hard and the flavor wasn't too strong yet you could taste it in every handful.
I was excited to receive this flavor because it's new to me and not a flavor of corn nuts I have tried before. I was not disappointed. It has a great salsa like flavor which is delicious and not super spicy or anything just really great flavor. Will definitely buy the Chile picante flavor again in the future
These are THE BOMB! the flavor is 10/10 and the crunch is there when you eat these, of course if you have sensitive teeth I would say these are probably not for you. I can go through a bag of these in one day, and I'm not talking about the small bags ;) they are just that good These would be perfect for a dip or soup, you would crush them and add them as a topper, this would add a nice, crunchy texture to your food, plus the flavor doesn't disappoint I would buy this and recommend this to family and friends
I love eating corn nuts on their own or added to a salad, soup or pasta. Other than salt these Original Corn Nuts don't have much taste to I sometimes add a little butter and some kind of seasoning or dash on some hot sauce. Either way these are a great snack.
Probably the best flavor of corn nuts that I have tried! It had the iconic crunch of corn nuts with the taste of ranch. I also appreciate the resealable packaging that it comes with
Even though you can't beat the original this comes in a close second. The ranch taste is just a tad bit overwhelming at times and takes away from the taste of the actual pieces you are consuming. However, if I got tired of just having the plain ole original flavor I WOULD buy this instead.
I used to eat Corn Nuts a ton as a kid - I remember thinking that they were extremely addictive and flavorful. And after not having them for many years, I wasn't disappointed in the original flavor and it even provided a nice kick of nostalgia. Original is not just plain salted - I'd describe it similar to seasoned salts like the ones made by Lawry's. It's a very satisfying, savory flavor that is easy to eat, and the ingredient list is *relatively* clean compared to other salty snacks. My one issue is that the seasoning can be uneven - some nuts are loaded with salty goodness, while some taste like bland crunchy nothing. But this is more noticeable when you only eat one or two at a time - when you're throwing mouthfuls in your mouth like some sort of wild bear, which is the correct way to enjoy Corn Nuts, it all evens out.
I am a big fan of popcorn but I have to admit, I usually avoid the crunchy unpopped kernels at the bottom of the bag! I haven't tried Corn Nuts before so this was a new experience for me. I found the crunch to be a little harsh, I was worried I was going to break my teeth! I did not enjoy the flavor of the original Corn Nuts. I usually look for stronger flavors from my snacks. Ultimately though I enjoyed the texture, I would not eat this as a snack again. I am looking forward to repurposing these Corn Nuts in cooking moving forward, maybe as breading for chicken tenders!
Honestly, I don't know anyone that goes after the original corn nuts before any of the flavors. Maybe bland tastebuds? Either way, these are definitely the last choice on my list when eating corn nuts. If I'm going to eat corn nuts at all, I'm absolutely going for the flavored ones first.
On a whim since I was on a roll trying corn nuts varieties I thought I would try this one as well. I don't mind a little spice in my products but this was a bit much for me. Chile is alright but it's the Picante that REALLY stands out. I kid you not I had to use mouthwash afterward. It was that hot. So would I personally recommend it, no. but if you're looking for something hot and love hot foods, you would likely enjoy it.
