I would recommend this product. It's very good quality. It has a nice cover. The size is perfect. I have a much larger oblong shaped French white casserole container. That's a little too big so this compliments that perfectly a great buy don't hesitate to buy it.

Old fashioned but still perfect
These are oldies but goodies! I love the oval shape. They are great for the oven and microwave with a glass lid. They are really hard to find these days. Thank you Wal-mart for still carrying them.

It is the perfect item for my purposes as I am 70 and live alone. I accidentally dropped my last one and was happy to fjnd it so inexpensive here. I never want to cook too much and then have it go bad in the fridge. This one is perfect, not too big or too small.

Great bakeware
The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that it would help if there were handles for easier removing from the oven. Otherwise, it seems to be great bakeware.

do a better job with packaging
The item is perfect... it was the delivery that was not. This heavy ceramic casserole dish and glass lid were delivered in a plain manilla envelope. No bubble wrap or padding. Thankfully it was not broken scratched or chipped.
