CorningWare French White 20-ounce Meal Mug with Vented Lid

If you want a BIG soup mug, look no further! Quality is what you would expect from Pyrex, at a price far less than competitive items. The vented microwavable lid is the best I have seen, and it will keep your oven clean as you heat your food , and the mug just wipes clean after use. Durability and appearance are supurb, too! What more could you want from a mug?

I've used this brand %26 style of mugs since they first came out. Have only replaced a few I broke. Love to warm up soup %26 other items in them. The lid fits tight, great for travel . There's a vent o the top when heating it Upp in the microwave. Love these! Glad Walmart carries them.

This stoneware soup mug is an excellent value. It will hold a full can of soup. you can heat in the microwave and grab the handle after it's heated up without burning your hand. it also holds the heat well, and comes with a lid. i highly recommend this soup mug

Excellent product! Wish the price were a bit less. This cup is microwaveable to warm soups, stews, etc. Great for coffee, tea, or cocoa. Durable! We take this in our travel trailer because of its verstility.

Corning Ware has always been a favorite of mine. I purchased 4 of these but upon arrival one was broken. I called Walmart and a refund was promptly issued for the one that broke in shipment. These are perfect for using to create a one person meal. I highly recommend them to anyone who lives alone and enjoys cooking one dish meals. Good for serving soups, stews, casseroles, and homemade pot pies using a can of GV Mixed Vegetables Medley and a GV can of undiluted Cream of Chicken Soup topped with a baked golden brown GV frozen biscuit. You can make a meal using a can of any drained cooked beans, a can of drained mixed vegetables, shredded cheese of your choice, and any seasonings you prefer. You can make a quick stew using a Hormel Compleats Pot Roast and Vegetables shelf-stable meal with added drained GV canned green peas or green beans. Or mixing any GV canned soup into one of these mugs with a can of water, then heating it in the microwave. Progresso Lentil Soup and canned Campbell's Soups are also delicious and quick and easy to prepare.

Perfect size for a 19 oz. can of Progresso soup. Holds the heat well, but the handle stays cool to the touch.. I've had one of these CorningWare French White 20-ounce Meal Mugs for over 20 years, and it's still in perfect shape. It originally went to university with one of my kids, and returned home after graduation four years later. It has been used on a very regular basis since 1999, so it is extremely durable and reliable. It washes well, and can go in the dishwasher; however, I make sure the lid is always on the top shelf of the dishwasher. I ordered a new mug because the lid on a second mug got damaged, and buying only the lid is not cost effective when compared to buying the complete mug with lid set.

The mug is a nice size for soup, is pretty, and I am sure would do a good job. It's the lid I have issues with: It fits so tight that trying to get it off with hot liquid inside would be dangerous. The lid has a steam vent, but no drinking hole, so it has to be taken off in order to get to the contents inside. I bought this because it had a lid and returned the item because I felt it unsafe.

I ordered 3 of these mugs and tgey all arriver broken. There was zero packaging around them. It was just 3 breakable mugs just dropped down in a cardboard box. They were gifts for coworkers and now have to be returned.
