I first bought this Corolle Baby Doll for my elder granddaughter, when she was 2-years-old. This young lady, now 29 and an elementary school teacher, still has the doll. I also bought two for my younger granddaughter (an only child, she wanted "Baby" to have a sister or cousin) when she was a toddler. She is now 14 and is saving them in the hope that she too will have a daughter some day. I have never known a little girl who did not love this doll - even those who did not generally like dolls tried to play with/"borrow" them. I have given this doll to about a dozen little girls (daughters and granddaughters of friends) over the years and they have all become not only members of their families, but they all brought security and comfort to their owners - most especially to the very shy ones. Because if that and how much the dolls are loved, although not inexpensive, these dolls are worth every penny. Not only that but Walmart offers it at the best price I have ever seen.
