Good except
Good pruners except that the locking mechanism is made from plastic and shears off really easy as it loosens and falls into the lock position while the pruners are open and is then sheared by the handle mechanism when the pruners are close to make a cut. I couldn't get through the first job. They pruned 100 or so rose bushes before they broke.

Fatal Flaw
Agree with other reviewer. High quality preuner EXCEPT for a fatal flaw. Cheap plastic lock switch has broken off on THREE BP7100 pruners. I've exchanged each one under the lifetime warranty, but I have to pay shipping! Find a different pruner until Corona can admit this model has a problem.
