[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this online a few weeks ago and I'm glad that I did. One of my mates gets bug bites that cause her to scratch until she breaks the skin. My Corona seems to speed the healing!
I have been treating three senior horses all summer long for scratches. I have tried several different treatments and this one knocked it out is just one jar. I put it on liberally before they head out for the night and within three weeks all three showed no more scabs. I am so pleased and will be using this every year! It feels smooth in your hand and is easy to apply.
very good for diaper rash, would never go back to desitin again- pediatrician recommended and will never to back
This has been a staple in my grooming box. I absolutely love it. My horse gets rub marks for his fly mask every summer, I just apply some Corona ointment and his hair starts to grow back. I use it when a cut has a scab on it and it helps regrow the hair in no time. I will never be with out my tube of Corona ointment. The only complaint I have with it is next to impossible to use in the winter, it gets all hard and frozen until I warm it up, but it takes forever.
I started using this ointment in the 1970's when I was a little kid because it heals and protects minor cuts and scrapes and really makes the hair grow back sometimes even on old scrapes. Everyone used it back then but I noticed now so many don't know of it. It's a tried and true awesome product and it really works. Stays great in the tub and lasts so long.
I had tried everything to keep my horse from rubbing his dry, flaky, itchy tail -- MTG, conditioners, other sprays -- and nothing worked. On a whim, I decided to slather some Corona all over the dry areas and was shocked to find the next day that my horse hadn't rubbed his tail at all. I've been using this every few days on the top of the tail where he was rubbing, and the skin is back to normal and the tail hair is growing back smooth and shiny.
I bought this for my gelding who has suffered from gnat allergies his first summer in Florida. I use Equiderma lotion on his body, but it is too harsh for his face. The Corona ointment on his face seems to soothe the itchy spots and help hair grow back. Used under a fly mask with swat around edges as additional protection. Note: Product arrived cracked, but I sealed it with duct tape.
My filly got bit by a horse and had a puss pocket infection and it blowed out (in left picture). The whole was nearly the size of my 2 fist put together. Only thing we done was give her 5 days worth of penecilin shots and put the Corona ointment on it every day for a month. I was honestly expecting her to have a scar from it but thanks to Corona you can hardly tell where the whole was! (Right picture)
My family has used this for years for first aid purposes. It's very soothing and moistures expertly.
WAY overpriced !!!! I thought I was getting a large jar or never would have offered. Paid over $17 for 2 ounces?? Rip off
