Corsair Cam Link 4K

These Cam Links get better and better. Now up to 4K 60fps. I use two Cam Link 4K's in my setup for two different camera inputs into my stream. They come with a dongle so that you don't stress the USB which I highly recommend always using. Make sure to download the 4K capture Utility or Game Capture HD software to check for any updates! Have not had any issues with them at all, again make sure you're always up to date with your firmware. Highly Recommend having this for your stream, whether you want to plug in a camera source or even a gaming source.

Bought this a few weeks ago for my digital learning platform and it works like a charm. Skype, Zoom, Webex, recording video, etc. Haven't seen anything that doesn't work with it on my Sony video camera 4K. I'm using the software tool Sparko Cam to make recordings directly into the computer...

I bought the Cam Link 4k to connect my DSLR and live stream on Twitch, but ended up using it for a complete different purpose. I'm a teacher currently teaching through Distant Learning because of COVID-19 and being able to connect my DSLR and use it as a webcam has been nothing but awesome. I teach at a high school and have been giving cooking classes by streaming in the evening so students could be distracted by everything that is going on. With the Cam Link4k connected to my personal laptop, I am able to move my DSLR and point it at the stove, cutting board, etc. so the students are seeing what I am doing. The quality of the stream is also a lot clearer and crisper thanks to being able to connect my DSLR. Before connecting the cam link4k, I had to lug around the laptop, lift it up and try to aim the webcam to the stove or cutting board, making my cooking class practically impossible and annoying. If you plan to live stream, the Cam Link4k is a game changer that you will need in your arsenal. Your streams will look a lot better and have a higher quality stream.

I've been wanting to improve the quality of my broadcasts so I wanted to buy an improved camera over a simple webcam. When I was looking I found that Elgato has dozens of different reviews for camcorders and cameras to show the full quality of these when used with the 4k Camlink. That helped me a TON in making my camera decision and once I got camera and CamLink it was a simple matter of plugging it into the CamLink and then the Link into a USB 3 port and get set up with ease. Webcams are usually known for being easy to plug, play and setup and now so are professional level cameras with the CamLink!

Perfect little device to take your stream to the next level. I went from a normal webcam to streaming with a mirror camera and what a difference. It's like night and day.

I recently upgraded from my webcam (4K logitech) with a Sony A6000 and got the cam link 4K with it. One of the best purchases I ever made. The shear crispness of the image that translates so easily with just a plug and play is great for a content creators everyday life. Definitely recommend it if you want to upgrade your recordings/streaming/content creation. Elgato always has a way to make things easy and efficient. Can't wait for more products.

This product is terrible. I have to spend at least five to ten minutes before every video call pulling this product in and out of the USB port because it is always missing either the green channel or the red channel, and the image is a weird color. Also, the DSLR camera has to be readjusted for focus constantly and doesn't retain the previously fixed focal point. It's annoying, and I cannot recommend anyone ever to be hassled this way with a product meant to carry the image from a camera to the computer without such interruptions.

There is so many issues with this thing I don't know where to start. First off it's not plug and play like it suggests. You have to go into some pretty intense windows settings and shut off some usb controller settings and there's quite a bit of bandwith requirement so nothing else can be plugged into the usb ports next to it.I have contacted tech support multiple times and they have done nothing to rectify the situation and It's less than3 months old when I started having issues.

Device keeps freezing followed all troubleshoot but thr device itself is now just expensive plastic. Support wasn't helpful and said I was out of warranty ironically as the device breaks. I'd advise to go with a different brand for half the price and netter build quality. Elgato feels like cheap plastic for a fortune of the price it is worth.

Bought two of these units. Really wanted them to work. And sometimes they do! Randomly though the captured image will go completely green and purple. Have to unplug and replug power off and power on repeatedly to get the normal colors back. Google reveals others having same problem. Can't find any solutions though.
