I originally purchased the Corsair Scimitar Pro when transitioning from console to PC gaming. A friend recommended a mouse with multiple buttons, and after some research, I decided to give it a try. Since I have small hands, I was initially concerned about comfort, but I found that I could customize the button layout using Corsair's iCUE software, programming the back six of the twelve side buttons to suit my needs. The iCUE software allows for button calibration and macro programming, making it a versatile choice for different gaming setups. One of my favorite features is the RGB lighting system, which not only looks great but also serves a functional purpose—it changes colors to indicate firmware updates or notify you of different active profiles. This is especially useful since I have around 30 different gaming profiles, each tailored for different games and playstyles. For example, in New World, I use a specific DPI setting for PvP, whereas in Elder Scrolls Online PvE, I prefer a more relaxed setup. The ergonomics of the Scimitar Pro are also worth noting. There's a hardened rubber grip on the right side, making it easier to hold, especially during long gaming sessions. As for durability, this mouse has been incredibly reliable. I bought it between 2019 and 2020 and played for up to 10 hours per day during COVID, sometimes even longer. Despite this heavy use, it lasted until November-December 2024, when I finally replaced it. Overall, the Corsair Scimitar Pro is an excellent gaming mouse with customization, durability, and comfort, making it a solid choice for anyone needing multiple programmable buttons and adaptable profiles.
Came from a razer naga and couldnt be happier. Best mouse for gaming
Husband loves this for gaming.
The mouse is ok, adjustable side buttons. The App iCUE is horrible. Constantly freezes and resource hog. After one day of using this, something is rattling inside. For the price, I don't think it's well built. It feels cheap. RGB is cool but iCUE screws that up. Luckily it has internal memory for your RGB profiles. If it was $25 bucks cheaper and had better support for iCUE id gladly recommend this but I think Corsair is loosing their grip.
I want to return it, but Walmart is not aware that it has been delivered.
