I received this item at a discounted price during a promotion. In addition I was offered a small credit to write this review. I have had this item for several weeks. I have mainly used it to clean gutters that are difficult to approach using a painter's ladder or shorter A frame styles. I have not used this item at full extension (leaning). The reach takes me comfortable to a working height of ten feet (note I am about six feet tall), and I could take another step to sit over it in the A frame configuration for additional height. The top steps form a useful shelf that can prop a 5 gallon bucket easily. The seizure of the rotating steel disc portion at the join of the legs of the appears to be well within tolerance. it is sturdy once emplaced and feels safe to approach and work from. (Or at least as safe as working from height ever is.) It is no more difficult to slide the leg components up and down than other similar ladders. The only feature missing from other multistage ladders I have used is that this does not have adjustable feet, so you will need to ensure a stable surface that is level at the point of contact. I can easily recommend this ladder for most DIY use, although I do not know how it would handle sustained loads under commercial or industrial use.
The hinge mechanism is straightforward, allowing for quick adjustments without needing tools. While some users find it a bit heavy to maneuver (it is a large aluminum tool, after all), most find it easy enough to move around, and it stores surprisingly flat.
I got this ladder for $100 with a $10 cashback portal - for $90 it was a steal. solid option. not commercial grade but when you need stuff done on occasion around the house it is flexible enough to fit almost every need.
It was exactly what was advertised. It is easy to use, folds together for easy storage and not too heavy. In fact, if it were lighter, it would not be as sturdy. Great price also.
I think most people knew about Cosco brand. It's definitely a famous brand due to their budget friendly products. The ladder is great and comparable to those big brands ladder worth $250 and up.
For years I was fixated on buying another “famous” branded ladder. Finally got to the point that I needed such a ladder so I visited another “big box retailer” and the “famous” ladder seemed flimsy. Went home to investigate further and found the “famous” ladder's video on that retailer's site😳so flimsy. I'm seriously interested in the safety of anyone who would ever need to borrow any tool I own, so it was definitely a no go for that brand. Walmart carries that brand in my local store less than a mile away but I decided to order the COSCO brand ladder and check it out. It was shipped and delivered quickly without any damage. I have been very impressed with this ladder. My only regret is that I didn't get it years ago. It is quite heavy for me as I'm no longer strong enough to tote it very far but I do feel very confident in it's ability to do it's job keeping me safe when using it. It's been excellent for reaching our 10 foot ceiling vents, fans and getting me into the attic. Best of all our grandchildren will inherit a truly useful family treasure.
Amazing price on a very strong ladder. Actually 2 ladders as they disengage to form a scaffold, bench, etc. Truly happy with the purchase.
I'm happy with what I received, thanks
This ladder isn't too heavy, is easy to use %26 store, %26 is easy to setup. Too soon to tell on how it works but it seems sturdy %26 well made upon receiving.
not as strong or sturdy as it's competitors. but well made enough to be safe and useable, at ~1/4 of the price.
