Okay, I admit it. I'm fat. I like to say that I'm twice the woman I used to be, and, sadly it's true! My old step stool wasn't designed for a heavy person, so I needed something I felt secure on. I bought this stool and another from Walmart. Both are excellent, though bigger than my "old" one, which, I guess, should be expected.

Excellent step stool for reaching short distances. Very sturdy frame and safety treads on the steps. I bought one for the basement and one for the rest of the house. An extra saves us from carrying one up and down the stairs.

i got this for my parents to reach up in the kitchen shelves. they love this. big steps give them a better sense of security, its easy to open up and fold, and the top to steady yourself on is great! i recomend!
