Cosco Kids Scenera Next Car Seat Otto

We purchased this seat for use in our babysitters car as I wasn't comfortable using the seat she was providing. We wanted something that was easy to install in any vehicle, and budget friendly. Of the 5 car seats my son has with various family members (Dimensions, Marathon, Boulevard CT, Clek Fllo, and Scenera Next) this one seems to be his preferred seat. The absence of fluffy padding keeps him cool and we've had no issues with things like head slump when he falls asleep in his seat. As for me, it's a dream to install. Less than 3 minutes gets me a CPST approved install every time. I was originally worried that my son may not like this seat compared to his "comfier, more expensive" car seats, but in the end we both like this seat just as much as those seats with the more expensive (but not legally necessary) features.

My 2-year-old's main carseat is one of the higher-end models but I have to say that I enjoy many of the features that this car seat has to offer, specifically the fact that it is easy to transport from vehicle to vehicle, so incredibly EASY to take apart and wash, and -- most importantly -- can accommodate extended rear-facing which is something that was important to me. I would absolutely recommend this to any parent on the fence about purchasing.

This is my 3rd one. No complaints at all.

We had two and just had to upgrade our daughter to a bigger car seat. She used them for a year and half when she out grew her pumpkin seat. These were easy to install as we had to switch them out from several cars for a while. They were economical with our daughters safety in mind.

This is a great seat but not for every day use. The straps are a little awkward since they connect through the bottom and not 2 separate straps. The straps dug into both my twins necks leaving them red (should come with strap covers). It is very lightweight and easy to install. This seat is great for travel and the secondary/backup vehicle. I would recommend it BUT not as a primary seat!

It's true the car seat is lightweight but the material is very cheap and thin. The child's back gets soaking wet from sweating. I have had to put a towel in the seat to try and cut down on the sweating. Would never buy again and would not recommend to anyone.

Purchased 2 seats and both of them are a pain to deal with. Very cute and simple looking, but when tightening the straps they tend to tighten more on one side then the other, it is not easy to tighten using the strap between the legs, and my daughter is tiny though the straps by her neck still squeezes her to tight.
