Underpriced!! Should be worth more!!

Makayla December 11, 2020

I was in a car accident, I had to replace her previous car seat and went with this one. LET ME TELL YOU! I received the car seat the next day! I have done the whole test to see how it would react in a roll over accident, SHE DID NOT MOVE. the cushions on the seat are pretty thick so I would assume its comfortable for her. I originally had a safety first car seat that was about $150 this is half the price and she seems to like it way more. As a bonus it goes up to 65 lbs!!! (When switching to forward facing) do not let the negative reviews fool you. This car seat is something Id purchase again

Don't believe the negative reviews...

Mother of Twins December 28, 2017

We have Maxi-Cosi car seats as our primary car seats in the mini van. These were purchased solely for my husband to do pickup and drop off at day care. I went with these because they allow for the most room up front and they are fairly compact when rear facing. I read through all the reviews and we have had zero of these issues that others have had to install not one, but two of these in the car for our one year old twins. We plan on keeping our children rear facing until they are thirty pounds and currently they are barely twenty pounds each. I recommend everyone to read through the booklet that comes with the car seat and familiarize themselves with installation as it might differ from other models or brands.

Rear Facing and Fine

mama2many June 6, 2018

This is our second Cosco carseat (the other being the Finale 2 in 1) and this one is a winner too. We installed this rear facing in our Expedition that has leather seats. First off you should be using a seat protector/anti slip mat under your carseats. Second you need to put pressure down on the seat while you tighten it. The seat is very cushiony, the headrest is easy to move, and it fits in the middle seat of the second row in our SUV. There is room on either side of this seat for us to install our toddler's forward facing carseat/older kids belt positioning boosters. PS our 4 foot 50 pound 6 year old fits in this seat, but we use it for our 20 pound 6 month old.

Saved our 1 year old!

Roxy March 11, 2017

We got this car seat when our daughter turned one in December 2017. a few days ago, we were in a rollover, and she came out without a scratch. We have just purchased the exact same car seat again. We would definitely recommend this!

Almost 5 stars

Wife-Mama-Doula April 26, 2018

Overall, I love this seat. It's super comfortable, relatively easy to adjust, fits 3 across. It has a removable cup holder and it's aesthetically appealing. It's easy to install and my kids love it. We switch cars pretty often and I never have a problem with the install. It's narrow and does give more leg room up front while still giving the kids plenty of room to be comfortable, whether rear facing or forward facing. They're really easy to clean, too! All that said, I have two issues with it. Issue #1 is that, despite being properly tightened, straps flat, no slack, the straps twist between the chest clip and belt buckle by the end of the ride, nearly every time. I have yet to find a solution to this, but I often ride in the back so I just fix it as I see it. Issue #2 is it's not impossible, but pretty close to impossible to tighten the straps while installed rear facing. Forward facing is no issue, but my 4yo and 1yo are still rear facing (still below limits). If my husband isn't home to help me tighten the straps, I have to reinstall the seat so I can buckle them and tighten the harness before tightening the seatbelt install on the seat.

It Lied

FrustratedAuntie March 17, 2017

It says on the box that it fits three across in the back seat. I had already bought one and then got two more. I then installed these into my Hyundai Santa Fe and the doors would not close. I also tried my Dodge Avenger (Which I figured was a lost cause) and the doors wouldn't close on it either after the car seats were installed. So I have now installed the two into a Kia Soul and I have one rear facing and there is no leg room in the front passenger area.
