Bought these as the most inexpensive option we could find for our flying minivan, a 1966 6-passenger airplane as we have a pilot in the family. Excellent quality, glad for 5-pt harnesses for the twin toddlers.

Scored a very good car seat!

Chas October 13, 2020

Definitely worth the money, good quality, fits in my Nissan altima RF with my seat back comfortably. She fell right asleep 30 mins after we put her in it. 25 months old.

Cosco car seat

John June 18, 2021

It is hard to get the child out of the seat when in the rear facing mode. It is high to the ceiling and you have to be careful not to bump the child's head putting child in and out of seat.

Don't believe the negative reviews...

Mother of Twins December 28, 2017

We have Maxi-Cosi car seats as our primary car seats in the mini van. These were purchased solely for my husband to do pickup and drop off at day care. I went with these because they allow for the most room up front and they are fairly compact when rear facing. I read through all the reviews and we have had zero of these issues that others have had to install not one, but two of these in the car for our one year old twins. We plan on keeping our children rear facing until they are thirty pounds and currently they are barely twenty pounds each. I recommend everyone to read through the booklet that comes with the car seat and familiarize themselves with installation as it might differ from other models or brands.

User Error, Not a Bad Carseat

D7mama April 6, 2017

I install Cosco brand carseats all the time as a CPST. This carseat is just fine and will get the job done. While talking to parents having issues with carseats the issue is 99% due to not reading the manual and not understanding how to properly install. Occasionally a seat is not a good fit for a particular vehicle seat but there is almost always something that can be done. Please get online and go to safekids.org to find a CPST (certified passenger safety technician) in your area to have your seat checked. They will show you how to properly install it and make sure it is safe before you drive away. If you want a cheaper option that will keep your child safe without all the bells and whistles, this seat fits the bill.

Nice car seat

Nick4wheelin March 3, 2017

Purchased this car seat about a month ago, and liked it enough to get a second one for the truck. It is a good car seat and relatively inexpensive. Our little guy fits in it nicely, and has plenty of room to grow.

Cheap

aunt February 22, 2017

I purchased this as a gift. The plastic seems very 'cheap'. I hope it provides safety, but I would recommend spending more and getting a better seat.

Horrible carseat

Casey February 17, 2020

I thought i would really like this carseat because it was more compact and suppose to be easy fabric removale. I still have to take out the carseat to remove the fabric and the carseat didnt want to fully strap down in the back center seat. I will never buy this car seat again. Its a big hassel to wash fabric and put back on

Not for babies

MICHAEL June 24, 2023

Did not work for my 4 month old. It would not adjust small enough, so definitely wouldn't work for a newborn. Customer service would not help, I had to hit another car seat and I'm stuff stuck with this one
