Cosco Scenera NEXT Convertible Car Seat, Mimic

I bought this to fly with my infant on a solo trip. It's very light. Set up is simple but may take some practice because you can't see while fastening the seatbelt. On a plane facing forward, the seatbelt buckle is right under the child's back and the seat is only lightly padded, so additional padding may be needed for comfort. It would not fit rear-facing economy seating. It's big for an infant but we will be able to use it for a long time.

We bought this carseat for a recent vacation, and it was great. We specifically wanted something that was TSA/FAA approved that was also light-weight for our 2-year-old daughter. We used it on the plane (so she doesn't squirm around everywhere), plus used it in our rental car. It was super light and easy to carry through the airport. Plus fit well in the seats on Frontier Airlines.

This travel car seat is an excellent choice. We've used it on two trips so far, and the installation process is quite straightforward. However, we encountered some difficulty folding the padding back over once it was installed. Despite this minor issue, our child absolutely loved the spaciousness and fit perfectly at 10 months old. We're confident that we'll continue using this as our primary travel car seat in the future.

This is perfect for traveling or throwing into a grandparent's vehicle. I bought it for going on vacation in Florida and it was perfect for this purpose. It's very lightweight and easy to take through TSA and gate check. Also very easy to install. Now, with that being said I wouldn't use it for everyday use. I don't think it is super comfortable and my son did fuss a bit more when he was little (I think he was just used to his very cushy Graco).

Love this car seat for traveling. It is perfect, light, and easy to install. I can quickly/easily install this in a taxi and throw this on top of my carry-on luggage and move easily through the airport, and onto the airplane seat for my toddler. I have two, and they stack perfectly on top of one another.

We got this for the extra car and to use for traveling. It's a bit cumbersome to install compared to the other car seat we have, but it's also 1/4 of the price. It's a good basic seat that still offers great safety and protection and I'm happy we bought it.

This is the perfect lightweight (7 lb!) car seat for travel, and despite feeling rather flimsy, it is rated well in crash testing. Once you have the straps threaded/adjusted correctly (do this FIRST!), it's straightforward and fast to install in a car with a seatbelt (a recent trip required 6 separate installations, in both planes and cars, whew). And it's a fraction of the weight of other car seats. We used a bungee cord to attach it to our rolling carry-on suitcase and that made it so much less painful to travel through the airport with a car seat. So thrilled we got this before it was discontinued! Looks like the new version is four pounds heavier.

Overall decent, does the job. We got this as a spare car seat for when we go in a car besides ours. It's definitely not the most comfortable feeling and the straps are a bit hard to tighten and twist easily. I don't think I'd want this to be my daughter's full time car seat, but it works great for sometimes!

Had this car seat shipped to my parents' house so it was ready when we arrived from the airport. For the price, it's an excellent seat, very padded for baby's comfort and protection. The only downside is that it's pretty large for a compact SUV. We ended up installing (rear facing) it in the middle of the back seat so it could fully recline.

The car seat is very light weight which was what I was looking for since I rideshare most of the time I was looking for fast light weight but safe, my main concern is even when doing what the directions say that this car seat does NOT stay tight, I have tried the seatbelt and the latches but either or does not provide me with the security in knowing it is going to protect my child. Will be trying to return.
