We have a very small step stool but it doesn't get her high enough to get clothes off the top bar. And most foldable step ladders are bigger than she is, or very hard to fold up or out. This one is so smooth and easy! It's larger than I thought she could handle but it's light so she's able to move it around her closet herself. She's also able to manipulate the folding mechanism herself with no fear of pinched fingers because of how it works. This step stool is great!
