I researched before purchasing this bag because of the price point and in doing so read through a ton of reviews. Because I live in a remote area off the road system, my bag has to fly before it can hit the road. Reviews were mixed on how the exterior of the bag holds up as checked luggage but because my Allpa getaway duffle has done great, I bit the bullet and I'm glad I did. It's already taken one round trip flight, been lugged around, in and out of vehicles, strapped on an ATV, and up and down stairs. It looks exactly like you'd expect true to Cotopaxi quality. It's beautifully made and fits my vibe. Because I travel a lot, I personally judge any bag on the quality and design of its zippers, the durability of the exterior, how the bag contours and adjusts when packed well and how easy it is to handle. This bag checks all those boxes for me. Can't wait for the matching 100L to become available. Super satisfied with the purchase.
Plan to use this roller bag on extended trip to Europe where I plan to do 6 weeks of hiking and visiting friends and new cities traveling a lot by bus, train and plane. I need a bag to accommodate this multi use trip, be light-weight yet rugged and practical. Seems to be a perfect size, not too big but capable of holding a lot! Excited!
I recently picked up the Allpa 65L Roller and it has quickly become my go-to travel bag. The size is perfect for longer trips where you want the flexibility of a duffel-style bag but the convenience of wheels. What really stands out is the thoughtful design. The compression straps keep everything tight and organized, and the internal layout makes packing clothes simple without things shifting around during travel. I like that it opens wide like a suitcase but still feels rugged and adventure-ready like a backpack. The wheels roll smoothly through airports, and the fabric feels extremely durable without being overly heavy. It strikes a great balance between toughness and practicality. I also appreciate the minimalist design — it looks sharp but still feels like a piece of gear built to be used, not babied. For anyone looking for a reliable checked bag for clothes and longer trips, this hits the sweet spot between traditional luggage and travel gear. Overall, I'm really impressed with the build quality and functionality. It feels like a bag that's going to last for years of travel.
I have been trying to find a good medium-size case for international travel. This bag is perfect. I was able to fit everything I needed for over a weeks worth of travel in this case. The size is perfect for getting on and off of trains and going up and down several flights of stairs in Europe. It's lightweight and after my trip to Europe with 4 flights and several train rides there was hardly any wear and tear. I'm seriously considering getting the 100L roller bag as well for my three week trip to Italy next year. Highly recommend this bag if you're looking for something that is durable and lightweight at the same time.
This is my new favorite bag. I absolutely love it. It's the perfect size - not too big like my last bag and not too small. But just right. I love how it rolls, I love the way it packs with two compartments on each side that help me organize my clothes. I love that there are handles in several places. I like the hard black back and the soft blue front with the straps. It's cool and hip. It's true that it does scuff a bit more than I'd like. One trip and I have a scuff I can't get out. Maybe there's a trick that Cotopaxi will let me know about, but I guess that's what happens when your bag gets tossed around in the basements of airplanes and airports :) I got compliments at the baggage claim at one airport and I felt so cool when it came off the ramp. Coolest suitcase there by far :) Love the handles too - you need them on the top bottom and side. Those bags that don't have that are poorly designed. I guess it could have one more handle but it's great as it is.
This is my first piece of luggage that I've ever bought. I had seen Cotopaxi bags in the past and knew that I liked the style. They seemed very well made and functionally sound. So, I figured I'd give one a try on a recent trip. First off, it looks cool, plain and simple. I like the weight of it, the cargo separation and the durable zippers. After using this Allpa roller bag, I'm extremely glad I chose it. I'll be buying more Cotopaxi gear in the future. Thanks y'all.
Just received my 65L roller bag. Looks great and just as advertised. Won't be using this one until February but looking forward to using it. Purchased for ease of carrying from place to place. I do wish it had spinner wheels though.
I'm excited to use my bag for upcoming travels. So far, on the one trip I've taken it on, I'm pleased with the functionality. It does need to lay flat to be fully accessible… as the top portion is not framed out, it falls over the bottom area if it's not laid flat.
I love the compartments and material of this suitcase but after just one flight it looks like it's 5 years old. There are burn marks all over it from the luggage belt. I am taking this on a 4 month trip across Europe but after just 1 day I'm worried it won't hold up.
Hello, I am receiving requests for a review on the new luggage I purchased from you guys. I think you should understand when somebody purchases luggage, they probably don't use it the following week. We are making large plans for travel coming up. May I suggest you reach out to your clients that have purchased products and ask them when would be appropriate to reach out to them so you could get a proper review. They don't have to give you exact dates but then you could actually honor their time and wait until a review is actually warranted. It doesn't make much sense for me to say the luggage I got was beautiful but I have no idea how it works. I think you want reviews that tell how well the product worked out. . . . yes?
