Cotopaxi Batac 16L Del Dia Backpack, Multicoloured

Batac 16L is the best day pack I've owned and has become my go-to for hiking. As a hiking guide who has climbed hundreds of Colorado peaks, I've found it to be the perfect size for day trips, with excellent comfort, breathability, and stability. Lightweight, durable, and well-designed, it carries a full load comfortably and performs exceptionally on the trail.

It added some fun waiting to see the color scheme, and I am absolutely satisfied with look of my pack. Nature has many colors we enjoy, so should our gear. As far as functionality goes, I bought this specifically for day hikes. The unstructured fit makes it ideal for packing layers and my hammock in the main compartment that sits on your back. I fit my bridge hammock, along with a light quilt and pillow and still have room for a light puffy jacket or alternate layer/gear. The outside pocket has plenty room to carry snacks and other various items. The pockets on the outside work well for liquid storage, can be tight with some wider bottles. There is lashing on the left side that allows for some additional carrying options if needed. My only addition would be some extra lash loops on the outside of the pack to allow more strapping options. Overall, the look and functionality of this pack is exactly what I was looking for. I bought this pack online after visiting a local shop that had a 24L in stock and deciding I wanted smaller. The shipping was fast as always from Cotopaxi.

I was on the hunt for a backpack that could keep up with my work trips — something stylish and functional at the same time. Let me tell you: the Chiquillo 26L is absolutely it. This backpack is surprisingly spacious. I can fit my laptop, iPad, notebook, plus all the random “just in case” essentials I need easy access to on a plane. And trust me, I'm definitely not one of those people who can survive with just a purse. I like to be prepared for everything, and this backpack handles it perfectly without feeling bulky. I also love the colorway. It honestly feels like a little extension of my Allpa 28… like its cooler little cousin (but not little at all). The material quality is amazing, it feels durable and well-made, and overall it just looks so good. 100% recommend. !

I can honestly say Cotopaxi has become one of my favorite brands I've ever owned. I have so many of their items at this point — backpacks and bags every single piece has been beyond impressive. The quality is incredible, the colors are unique and beautiful, and everything is built to actually last through real life and travel. Out of all the brands I've tried over the years, Cotopaxi is one of the very few that has completely earned my loyalty. Hiking in Alaska requires rugged gear. I love the functionality of my 16L Batac Daypack Del Dia; my hiking buddies commented right away how bright it is! I love how accessible the side zipper is when I need something but don't want to dig in the main pack!

I just got this bag hoping to bring it on quicker day hikes just so I have somewhere for phone, keys, wallet, snack, etc and I love it. Really light weight and a (very small) zip pocket inside for smaller stuff to keep it separate. Took it right out for a test drive and solidly approve :)

Bought the Batac 16L for use on my trip to Glacier. Perfect bag for the airplane. Perfect bag for short hikes. Perfect bag to carry change of clothes, a towel, shoes, etc to keep in the car to keep organized. I wish the bottle pockets on the sides were a tiny bit larger, but still managed to get my Nalgene bottle in with a little wresting. I look great carrying it too. I'm 5'6” 144lbs size 6/8 average/curvy

Love the colors! The aesthetic and the utility of the pack are great, I use it for nearly everything I carry these days, especially when I am running errands or doing a lot of walking. My only critique is the back does get a bit warm, but it's not that bad. Makes me happy to look at though, and has the front chest strap, so it was exactly what I was looking for!

I absolutely love this daypack! I use it whenever I travel because it's lightweight, easy to wash, durable, and surprisingly spacious. I've tried many different packs, but this one really stands out. It's not too big or bulky, yet it holds an incredible amount of stuff. It's comfortable on the shoulders and has great pockets that make it easy to stay organized. We've actually bought several for everyone in our family, and we all love them. Highly recommend this daypack!

I was really underwhelmed with this backpack. It's 26L but feel incredibly small. The side pockets are so tight and barely fit my waterbottle. I love the colors, but I wouldn't buy another one of the day packs again in comparison to one of the multi day packs that I love and still use
