Country Crock Dairy Free Vegan Plant Butter with Avocado Oil, 16 oz, 4 Sticks (Refrigerated)

I have Alpha Gal Syndrome, so unfortunately I can't have dairy products. Since I can't eat butter, I decided to try the Country Crock Plant Based Butter. I figured it would taste really bad, but it was surprisingly good! I use it in baked potatoes, on rice, corn on the cob, etc. I like the one that has avocado oil in it. So, if you are like me and have food allergies, I would definitely recommend this one.

Made cookies and grilled cheese that tasted just as good as those made with butter. I like that it does not blob apart like an oil when spread in warm pan (that's how I "butter" my grilled cheese, rub stick on pan, dab already-cut bread on same area, repeat). Smelled great making them. I do caution though, if you leave grilled cheese on a little too long (which can get tastier if with butter) it will start to smell like you burned something (still tastes fine). Grilled cheese (pictured) gets even coating and can stay on heat long enough for cheese-pull melt (micrograte cheese to get free Cheez-It-like bits, drag cheese-pull-strings through them to pick up loose bits).

This is my go-to vegan butter. I've been using this for several years, since it came out. I've tried the other Country Crock plant butters. But this one is my fave. The taste is great, reminiscent of regular dairy butter. When I share this (or the spreadable tub) with my (dairy-free) family members, they love it too. This is cheaper and easier to work with than a lot of other vegan butters. It's softer, and softens faster, than the well known brands I tried before. So it's easier to use for things like frosting. Or just buttering your bread. And it works well for cooking. (and doesn't smell/taste like coconut oil) I mostly use the sticks, though do get the spreadable tubs a lot. To make the sticks more spreadable, just leave a stick out of the fridge for 10 minutes or so (depending on the temps in your kitchen).

This is an amazing butter if you are looking for an alternative to dairy. There is a reason this has been on my weekly rotation for the past two years! It melts just like real butter! I use this as a substitution for butter in any recipe that I am making! Highly recommend!

Tastes like butter %26 spreads very easily. Only drawback; when using to melt in frying pan, use at least 1/2 of a tbsp rather than a full tbsp. It works equally well!

I have kids who are lactose intolerant and this butter is great for them!!!! We all love the taste and I'm so happy there's finally plant based butter!!! I've even made Mac and cheese with it and it doesn't upset their stomachs!!!

If you can't have butter, it's the next best thing. I use it in many of my recipes and it tastes great! Most people don't know I used this instead of butter, it tastes that good!

I personally love this spread..it's sweet enough and texture is reminiscent of butter, but without the "dairy", since I am allergic to dairy products. Even my husband enjoys it..order or purchase in person this product at your local Walmart store.

i love this butter! it is creamy and so smooth. better for you than regular butter.it cooks so well for baking. dooesnt take nearly as much when stove top cooking in my opinion. love it recommend it and great on toast!

I enjoyed the creamy taste of this plant based product but prefer the tub offering of the same. Walmart is always out of the tub selection and it's annoying. Please do better on keeping the avocado plant butter in stock!! Regards, Lori magdos
