Mistica Ranch Country Fried Steak Patties

sharon August 5, 2025

My family loves these Mistica Ranch County Fried Steak Patties with Gravy. They are great for a quick dinner or when I don't want to cook. We eat them with mashed potatoes, other vegetables, put them on buns or sandwich bread too. I try to keep a package in my freezer.

Cheap, Tasty %26 Easy Comfort Food. New Go-To Meal

Kelly November 15, 2024

I honestly think these are delicious for being a prepared frozen product. I read a lot of reviews on here, so this is what worked for me. There are 5 steaks, pretty evenly sized. The breading is a little thick, but honestly, we enjoyed it because we got it so crispy, and it's seasoned well! I didn't pre heat my air fryer bc I always forget. So I air-fried them for about 17 minutes on 370. I flipped after about 8 minutes. they came out great! Definitely had some shrinkage, lol, but not too bad. As far as the gravy, yeah, it's a bit thin, and it needs more pepper. I used a couple of loose tablespoons of mashed potato flakes, and it thickened up great and didn't alter the taste! Then I peppered it up. I will suggest holding off on adding salt to anything before tasting. The breading was salty enough, and the gravy is too. Once i thickened it, I adjusted for our taste. I will definitely buy this again without hesitation. It's my new go too for the nights you have a crap day and you only want tasty comfort food with little effort.

A pleasant surprise

Michael October 5, 2024

There are five breaded steaks, about the size of a hamburger patty (ideal if you want to make a sandwich). There are also five small gravy packets, pre-mixed and frozen, so you can heat up one per steak. I used a deep-fat fryer, but the steaks can be pan-fried or air fried. The steaks are raw, but cook nicely in about five minutes. You can cook as many as you wish, and save the rest for another day. Tasty, easy and economical.

Glad I tried these

Bill March 12, 2026

Ok, these have become my absolute favorite. Pop a couple in the air fryer, some mashed taters n corn n it's a dinner that rocks or just make a couple of sandwiches with em. I like the taste of these n the quick prep time in air fryer. I will say that the gravy packs are not my favorite and could be better

having a beef

Sheryl November 27, 2024

Very tasty. I usually associate "fritters" of being apple in variety. I doctored up the gravy packets with a little extra garlic powder and extra cracked black pepper to kick it up a notch. Saved me great angst from a turkey with trimmings ordeal! Thanksgiving '24-Sheryl

Not Bad at All For Cheap and Fast

anonymous March 3, 2025

These are pretty decent. Would be nice of gravy was a bit better. Gravy yellow and a bit bland. Overall this is a pretty good option for cheap, easy, and pretty tasty. Less than $8 for five portions? Cmon. Thats cheaper than just one at a diner. Not bad at all for the price and convenience.

Worst ever

Jmac August 3, 2024

I cooked as directed the gravy packets fell apart in boiling water. No gravy fir my meal the steaks were not the best! Totally processed ground up meat pressed into a patty with not the best breading. NOT WHAT IS PICTURED. Or expected. Should have gone to restaurant!!

Meat Mush

anonymous January 28, 2025

Followed directions on box and while the steaks were fully cooked, they didn’t crisp up. The gravy is bland. Fills the belly but I won’t buy again.

Poor quality, not good

Sherry October 10, 2025

First of all the crispy coating is nothing like the picture on the box. There's very little crust . I used to the air fryer on it which helped it be a little crispy but the flavor is not there, there was gristle in the meat and it's just a poor quality
