COVERGIRL Classic Color Powder Blush, 540 Rose Silk

I ordered this blush online because all the cosmetics in the store were under lock and key and you had to get someone from customer service to obtain this item for you then they would take it to the customer service desk where you had to request it on checkout. Really aggravating!!!

Such a pretty color. Has just a tiny amount of shimmer, giving a healthy looking glow. The pigmenting in this product is good, so you don’t need to keep re-applying it. It is certainly buildable, and looks natural. Covergirl is a good, affordable brand.

I have always liked this shade. It compliments all skin tones and can be used as a shading for a more vibrant color to be added on top. It applies smoothly as the brush glides it on. A glow is built into it making it have its own sheen.

I am really happy with the color. It's hard to order online because you don't know if the color is the same as shown in the photo. This is a nice rosy shade, mid range tone. The picture is accurate %26 I was pleasantly surprised about the color %26 tone when it arrived.

This blush is wonderful..the color is delicate and looks great year round..it does come with a little brush applicator but I use a full size brush...it has a little old school noxzema fragrance, I find it refreshing but not too strong...this line has been around awhile but it's great, I use the one in soft mink as well it's very good..

I have used this brand for awhile and it's reliably good. I guess I don't have much to compare it against, I've used Mary Kay and other kinds like that but I honestly can't tell the difference, so I always go back to Covergirl which is much less expensive!

The Natural Glow color is quite faint. You have to put a lot on in order to see it. I do have pale skin so that could be part of the problem. But after it's on, there is a subtle, natural look and I like it. It goes on nicely over foundation and stays on all day. Other reviews talk about the small brush, but the container is small so how is a larger brush going to fit in it? The brush does a fine job and the mirror is a reasonable size for touch ups. The case is difficult to open and close though.

No way to lighten this very dark shade. I barely touch my checks with light taps then blend with a soft brush .. I have even gone so far as to use a tissue to take some off, still wouldn't lighten up. The case falls open every time I pick it up.. doesn't click closed . And no brush???

I came here to see if I was the only one. Clearly, I am not and I agree with the majority here! I have also used this product for many years and very disappointed in the changes that were made. Too orangey and shiny! Who buys blush that is shiny? So much for powdering my nose! Please avoid sending your canned response. The only thing that will help is changing it back to how it was. No other product you can suggest will replace what has worked for years for this fair skinned gal. I will be looking into other brands/products.
