I usually don't buy Steak from Walmart. I took a chance. I cooked it on grill with Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder, same as I normally do. It came out very Juicy, Tasty and perfect. Hot grill to Sear on each side, then turned heat down, cooked 2 mins. each side. Took off Grill, Tented with Foil, while I made Salad and finished up preparing the Baked Potatoes. Perfect Rare to Medium Rare
this steak did not have a lot of fat on it which was absolutely perfect for me I really didn't want to steak with too much fat even though it gives it good flavor it's not necessarily good far as the meat part of it thank you so much again for all that you do
These are really good steaks. Large portioned with the right amount of fat for flavor. These days beef portions tend to be small and lean. Also, if you are trying to cut down on fat like many people you should at least cook it with the fat on the steak. That seasons the steak well and you can always trim the fat after it's done.
I was definitely surprised that the steaks I had picked for delivery turned out to be Excellent. The steak was well marbled and the bone was perfect for my dog. I will have them delivered again!
Didn't expect to pay 28.00 for a steak that wasn't a real cowboy steak I've purchased a really big bone in cowboy steak from Sam's club for 26.00 dollars to 23.00dollars about 2inches thicker
This steak is perfect for me, and I have a leftover. I do not grill it, I sear ea side and slow cook on stovetop with flavor added (like a pot roast. Guaranteed it will be tender enough to eat.
This cut of steak is me and my husband's favorite. I am not a big fan of the quality of the meat at Walmart. Therefore, I would put this rib-eye steak in the poor to fair category. We have bought it at least five times and none have been above a fair category rating.
A cowboy ribeye is supposed to have MEAT on it, not just FAT! You people show such a fine looking item, and when you order it, you get something that you can't even see the meat on. I am so mad! Thanks, but no thanks to you picking out a DECENT STEAK for me EVER AGAIN!
One steak is delivered to me a day after it's freshness date. in other words, it's out of its safe date. the other steak is due tomorrow but has gone into the freezer right away.
I had ordered porterhouse which was replaced with the ribeye. Not only did they cost more, but they were the worst steaks I have ever had! I will never buy them again.
