This is a beautiful piece and would look great in my kitchen, however the smell that radiates from this piece is horrible. There is such a heavy chemical smell that it is over powering. We have left it out in our garage to try and air it out, and hoping it would help but the smell just will not go away. I have resorted to leaving cotton pads with essential oils in both cabinets and all the drawers to try and help with the smell. I would have returned but unfortunately the box had been thrown away before being able to. if you do purchase this piece i do hope you do not receive 1 that has this harsh chemical smell.
