Cra-Z-Art Be Inspired Rainbow Lava Lip Gloss

My daughter and I had so much fun making these. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. We especially liked adding the colors in the mineral oil drop by drop so we could watch them float in the gloss. The droppers are so handy. The flavors smell great and the lip gloss goes on smooth. This was such a fun project for us! We got to get creative and she was able to learn how to make lip gloss in just a few easy steps. We enjoyed the whole process. These kits are so much fun and really make for great time spent together.

My daughter stays home during this quarantine and overall complaints about having too much free time, but this box kept her busy for hours. It is a very cool project of mixing mineral oil in cute bottles making lip gloss lava lamps in different colors and flavors. The blue raspberry was her favorite. The other neat thing is that after your kid is done with the project - the fun is not over because now she has a collection of lip glosses she can use and enjoy for a long time.

It's pretty easy to do and the lip gloss Containers look like super cute little lava lamps! It came with different colors and flavors too. Very cute! A great Kit! I definitely recommend this lip gloss kit!!!

Simple for 4 years old with supervision. Directions were very good. Scents very subtle. Colors pretty. Only three colors. Will only make 5 lip glosses. No clean up really. Needed nothing to make. Everything was included. More flavoring needed. One roller ball didn't work.

My daughter AND son just loved these! This is actually a KIT for you and your kiddos to make together. The flavors are not too sweet or heavy, there are a couple of different colors, and the containers themselves are big enough for kids to actually PLAY with the lava but not too large for them to hold the container and apply the lip gloss. It is a total DIY set, which my kids love, and the lamp is just too cute! The lip gloss is shiny and fun to wear, but I will warn that it doesn't last long and is a tad tacky to the touch. Kids with sensory issues might struggle with the texture (my daughter has tactile sensory issues, so I was concerned; but she LOVES it). I like that it comes in a set of five because kids are SO ROUGH on things, so there are backups in case one gets broken. This would make an AWESOME grab bag treat for the kids to make for others or stocking stuffer! Bonus: These are totally reusable (look up online recipes for homemade lava lamps) as just lamps when done. Clean 'em up, glue the roller ball to seal it and BAM! you got a free handmade lava lamp out of it!

It's really neat to do but the flavors that came with them didn't really have a flavor to them. I mixed them in with the color but it made it a little foggy looking. It may just be a trial and era thing as some turned out great. The mineral oil is really nice for your lips. The one thing I liked about them was you can refuse the container to make more. I suggest you and a little oil to the roller as it was very hard to get the lip gloss to come out at first. Overall I liked it.

I received the Cra-Z-art lava lipgloss kit as part of the review program. The kit comes with everything you need and was easy to make. Was a little sticky but easy. My 7 & 9 year olds had a blast making these lip gloss and brought back a little nostalgia for mom too! This lip gloss making kit is fun for everyone!

My 11 year old loved making these during quarintene. The box came with everything needed. The directions were easy to follow. There was enough product to fill all of the lamp bottles. The colors for the lava can be mixed to create extra colors. There are little pipets which make the color and fill process smoother. The scents are not overpowering though the do say only add 2 drops. When gloss is applied creates a nice clear shine. The gloss is applied by a roller ball. Due to this fact the color bubbles created will never get on your lips. This is great because nobody wants color globs on your lips. This a messy craft,but nothing like slime. I would reccomend this product. It was fun to bond and laugh with my daughter,hopefully you can do the same with your child.

The process of cresting the lipglosses was a lot of fun and it was very easy. My 5 year old and I had fun creating different colors. However, once created, the gloss takes a long time to come out of the roller ball and the quality isn't the best. I do think it's still a good gift for a young girl who simply enjoys creating.

I received this product to provide an unbiased review. The box came with a missing piece, the bottom of one of the lip gloss containers. Only 4 of the 5 containers were usable. My kids enjoyed making each lip gloss. Once they were all done, they tilted it back and forward to mix the flavor and after they did this the color just spread everywhere and looks like nasty water with oil on inside. Once they let it settle only a huge blob would go up and down. It's fun to make but does not look at all what the pictures do. I would not purchase this or recommend to friend.
