I have no idea why these are considered generic. They give Crayola crayons I have a run for their money. I don't find them too waxy at all. They're smooth, bright colors that shade and blend well. They're perfect for school. The price is a huge plus in that aspect considering how rough kids tend to be on crayons.

Works like expected
These came a few weeks ago and they were packed very well and came very quick. My hubby was so excited! He couldn’t wait for our youngest grandchildren to come have a sleepover so they could all color together. We went out and bought a few more coloring books just for the new crayons that aren’t all broken. Win win!

These crayons are not safe. terrible quality terrible color they seem to have feces made into them. A terrible shame and should never be sold.
