At this point in time, I can only seem to find this product at Walmart. I have been hearing rumors that the product is being eliminated that they will no longer be selling it. I find this disappointment but right now I believe Walmart is the only place that you're selling any local grocery stores no longer receive it.
A nice hard sharp cheddar cheese. Fantastic taste. Great for recipes or just to snack on alone. I like to purchase it when on sale or for a special occasion but will definitely buy again.
Husband‘s favorite sharp cheese, unless you buy from a cheese shop, you probably won't find one any sharper tasting than this Cracker Barrel. We only use it on crackers with mustard or other condiments because it's a little pricey.
Wonderful cheese cheese that tastes like good cheese should taste. It has just the right amount of sharpness, and it also melts perfectly. Try it with crackers, on a grilled cheese sandwich or just by itself. You won't be disappointed.
yes I dont like when I order items brands its not available i I dont want replacement items I want what I ordered if your low in stock dont make order and say it may not be avaliable. this may make me go out sources
This is a taste from my youth. It has a distinct taste for making nachos. I buy on repeat. Wish I could get the medium %26 sharp versions as well as Colby Jack and Pepper Jack.
Gonna keep it simple, it literally tasted like some generic budget brick cheese you get on sale at Aldi or Walmart. I'm not even joking. I opened it up and I was so excited. Here I am, gullible me, thinking "Cracker Barrel" still means gourmet....BOY WAS I WRONG! I don't know if it's the economy, if Cracker Barrel is struggling with profits, or what, but this cheese was so plain and average, I feel like I got ripped off. It's honestly like they just ordered the cheapest budget cheese they could find and wrapped it in their packaging and slapped a big price on it. NEVER AGAIN. And I'll be more careful shopping anything that says "Cracked Barrel" in the future, you better believe it!. Go ahead and see for yourself if you don't believe me. Great Value cheese is better, cuz it's cheaper. But taste wise? It's the same thing!
Came moldy! This is the second time something like this has happened from Walmart. Previously with cream cheese and now this… very disappointing because I immediately started dinner when it got here and now I have to go out despite paying $10 for express delivery. I have photos for the review, but conveniently, it's not allowing me to upload any.
We love excellent cheese..this brand has usually been good, but this sharp cheddar is not worth eating. My husband and I have both agreed of our disappointment. I have never written a review for any food item..my first. We are just surprised and disappointed!
Walmart, the largest outlet in the USA, had in stock NONE, not ONE, cracker barrel extra sharp or regular in stock. But your competition, Kroger had on it's shelves, dozens and dozens of both extra sharp and regular. If I have to make two drives to fulfill my weekly order, why would I continue to give money to the outlet which doesn't supply my weekly food needs? You are the largest food outlet in the US and you don't stock a major staple like cheese, but your competitor does?
