Never been a chip clip person but these are easy to use, sturdy %26 keep the chips crisp! Wish I had more.
Clip strength is good. Plastic seems a little flimsier than expected and the magnets are too weak (clips keep sliding off the fridge). I think these are still worth the price.
Magnets not strong enough to adhere to fridge, instead they fall off. Thought these would be wider to adhere to frozen food bags, needed to use two on each bag.
I bought these because I wanted some chip clips that I could hang on the fridge when we're not using them. They're very stiff - hard to open. The clip is designed more for holding papers than chips. However, the magnet is very weak. Only 1 out of the 4 stayed up on the fridge when I first put it up; the others had to be put above something to keep from sliding down to the bottom. They weren't worth returning b/c they still clip things, but definitely not a great purchase.
Ok for the main reason I purchased them (essentially for clipping bags that don't reseal in the freezer). My plan was to just store them on the fridge so I could quickly grab them when I needed them. The magnet is extremely weak. I have them on the fridge however they are on the side above something else that helps support them. On their own, they want to slide down/fall off immediately. Don't consider using these to actually hold anything on the fridge.
magnets used to attach clips to refrig. ineffective. They slid down side of same empty Lousey magnets were the culprit. One fell out of its socket immediately. Cheap junk !
I bought these because they have a magnet to use to store it when not in use. The magnet very barely holds it from falling to the ground when I place it on my refrigerator.
This works great as a chip clip, however, I chose this one because it has magnets to hold them to the fridge when not in use. The magnets are so weak that they won't stay. They just fall to the floor, which is not where I want them.
Truthfully, they just don't work well. I have to spend more to buy more of a different kind/brand. I mean too the magnetic part didn't work at all %26 the clip itself barley works also. Even being like $4-$5 it was pretty cheap. A waste of money though is a waste of money. I was disappointed.
The magnets do not work at all. They are much smaller than pictured. Not even worthy of $1.00 . DO NOT BUY.
