Craft Kitchen 4.7qt. Plastic Colander with Large Handles

This colander is great! It may be the best colander I've owned. It is much sturdier than other plastic colanders I've owned. The overall size is nice to hold a lot of things. I like the smaller holes in this one because nothing much escapes through the holes. The handles are great too. The size of them is perfect to fit your hand and give you a good grip on it. The other move feature I noticed is the base which raises the contents up more than normal which keeps your food out of the dirty water that can puddle below if it's sitting down in the sink. I'm very impressed by the quality. I'll be throwing away all my old plastic colanders with this as an excellent replacement.

The CraftKitchen colander is the perfect addition to any kitchen. I had a metal colander and the handle broke off in the dishwasher. I love that this colander is plastic and dishwasher safe. I also like that it doesn't have any bulky handles to get in the way, but still has handles that make it easy to hold.

When I received this colander, I was amazed how sturdy it is and heavyweight and not some flimsy. The size is good and not too big that touches to the kitchen sink. I do own few colanders already (some plastic ones and some metal ones), this particular colander is plastic material but not like my existing ones. I'm really impressed with the quality. As I'm someone who likes to cook a lot, this is going to last long in my kitchen. Today I washed fruits and beans. Both times I have realized that it is easy to hold from its curved sides and it is not touching to the sink. I do recommend this.

The CraftKitchen Colander is a nice size at 4.7 quarts, and is made to last. This Colander is made out of hard plastic so no chipping or cracking, the inside does have your gloss over so food does not stick to the sides and makes for easy clean-up. It is also dishwasher safe and comes with a life time warranty. The one thing I do really like with the CraftKitchen Colander is the lip that goes around the Colander and the handles under the lip that keep your hands free and safe from hot food, and the fact that it is so sturdy and doesn't wobble or tip over. Also great for rinsing your fruits and vegetables, in fact this Colander would make a great fruit bowl, and with the handles made the way they are you could also use as a serving bowl. In our house we are pasta eaters and if you ever had problem with pasta sticking to the sides of you colander no worries here slides right out. So wether you steaming veggies, cooking pasta or rinsing fruit you'll be using the CraftKitchen Colander a lot.

This strainer is heavy duty so if your clumpsy like me and sometimes drop stuff, this comes in handy. This is very heavy duty and will last me the rest of my life I have no doubt. I like how it's not flimsy, ddropped others by accidentally and have broken handles or cracked it. I have on purpose dropped this and nothing. I was that confident it wouldn't break.

This was probably the most durable collander I ever saw! It is mega heavy duty and is quite a bit deeper than one I had used for years. I believe this one will be easier to toss the noodles in, without them spilling out into the sink. It has a really good weight to it, and the thickness of it will make it last probably generations!

Seems like a colander is one of those kitchen tools you never really think about until you use it. This colander is well designed and made. It's a sturdy metal colander covered in silicone. The silicone is a great addition as it doesn't slip around in your hands when wet. It's a nice size and holds a lot of vegetables, pasta, whatever your're working with. We haven't been using it long, but it is dioshwaqsher safe which is nice, and seems like it's probably going to last a long time based on the overall quality.

Sturdy heavy weight plastic compared to the colander I had in the home previously. I can honestly say I will be tossing out my previous ones as this will be fully replacing them. The others look nice but are flimsy in comparison to this nice colander. The only thing i had a problem with was the sales/upc sticker on the item would not come off. I had to soak it and slowly remove the adhesive a bit at a time to not damage the plastic.

This 4.7qt colander is nice to have it is nice and heavy easy to grip it don't get hot. The oversized handles help with heavy food like potatoes it holds more food than some of the other ones I have. I like it is dishwasher safe and easy to clean up it has the bigger holes, so the food doesn't stick in it as much as the smaller holds one does. I like it and hold you will too.

Just got this colander today. It is nice, heavy plastic, and a good size for many different applications. I took off the label and gave it a wash. Then I put it to use cleaning some lettuce. It worked nicely and has built in handles for easy handling while using. Really like this light weight colander, but is still very sturdy and of good size.
