I am really enjoying my Craft kitchen trigger scoop, its a metal large size scoop, I like the easy to use squeese and release lever, also the handle is a so easy to hold and fits nicely in my hand. I use it for making meatballs, cake pops and of course for Ice Cream, it has a lot of uses, cleasns easly and storage is easy as well.....I highly recommend this

With 2 kids,and a husband's b days coming up and lots of cake.and ice cream being in the house this was a life saver lol..atleast 6 for each "party" a spoon wasn't cutting it and I needed to call in the troops.. this thing did the trick. Nice and sturdy, easy release. Worth every penny

I've used this gadget for everything from mashed potatoes, to Greek yogurt, to ice cream. When using it for ice cream, use hot water to warm it up, of course for but even on hard frozen ice cream it feels fairly sturdy. The little round flipping gadget works fine and seems sturdy enough also. Nice little kitchen gadget to have. I'm also looking to see if they have a cookie dough scoop to try out.

Let me start this off by saying I have gone through a good handful of cookie scoops in the last few years because we use them often! This trigger scoop makes pretty big cookies! It works well with different types of dough. It is also the perfect size for scooping batter for cupcakes! This is a great tool to have in your kitchen. Highly recommend!

I loved the original ice cream scooper, especially since it has the little lever To release the ice cream. It can be hard to scoop the ice cream if it's To cold so foots let it melt a little bit before using. It's also works great For rice and potato to get that perfect round shape!

This large trigger scoop is very well made, a really solid kitchen utensil. It's easy to use and the mechanism doesn't stick. It's great for ice cream, large cookies or a large melon scoop. You don't need a expensive high end scoop this one is a great value.

The escape reminds me of the ones that I had as a kid. It looks as if it's very well built and sturdy reminds me of the old ones that used to use at Braum's to scoop your ice cream out with. I really like the rubber insulated handle and makes it extremely comfortable and not cold whatsoever.Overall I would recommend this to my family for friends.

When I first got this i thought oh no this is just not going to work because it would lock up midway and wouldn't unlock. It's frustrating to use something that just won't do it's job right. The whole purpose of a trigger scoop is to make your job easier in the kitchen. Well after a few uses and tries it became a whole lot easier to use and gave a more fluid scoop. I am very happy with it now but was not at first. I guess with most new items it takes a few uses to soften the edges. So yeah, I do recommend this scoop because its the size i need and does give a good rounded top. Great for scooping ice cream, cup cake mix into cups and for good size cookies that will evenly bake.

I love kitchen scoops! I have a few of varying sizes and use them quite frequently. This is the largest one I own now. It is exactly like one of my smaller ones that I use most often! I haven't had this one long enough to give it the “test of time” and that's why I only gave it a ‘good' rating instead of an ‘excellent' rating because with past experience the trigger can tend to start slipping a cog and it makes it pretty useless! Because of that I've had to throw them in the trash. That is not the case with this Craft Trigger Scoop. I hope to use this mainly for scooping Icecream! It is the perfect size for perfectly round scoops. My smaller ones I use to scoop cookie dough and it gives nice, consistently round, equally shaped dough.
