wonderful project with great directions. If you have it for a gift and a learning project, it definitely pays for the packaging and teaching, but if they're already accomplished, I would let them choose their own project and buy the yarn themselves. This is awesome for kids learning how to crochet.

The only reason my rating is not a 5? Video tutorials have no speech. If I don't want sound, I can mute. But I cannot produce the nuances of oral instruction which is SO important when learning a new skill.

its not easy. the instructions are not clear for someone who has never crocheted before or doesnt understand the names of knots. my issues is its labeled for beginners. The material is great quality but this is more of a intermediate level not beginners level. You cant see what the instructors hands are doing in the video, and she doesn't verbally explain either.

I would give this a zero if I could. It's a total scam, most of the yarn is missing. Only received the yellow color of yarn and the stuffing. Waste of money!

There are no instructions (pattern). Never heard of a "kit" with no instructions. Ever try to put a model airplane together with no instructions? I wasted my money.

I bought 5 crochet kits of the farmhouse animals and when I got to the sheep it only has the stuffing - no yarn!
