This step stool is the real deal, It's the type that is in libraries, and it has the strength and convenience to work when you're over the 300 pound tolerance of some other stools, I went for this stool because I cracked one of the plastic ones. This is great. The price is a bit steep, but the product is good.

Like I said this is a Must for Every Home. It is so handy and most important it is a safe stool for all ages. Once you step on the stool, it auto locks and won't go sliding across the floor.. Try this out and you two will fall in love with it.

I've had the perfect kitchen stool over 20 years old but it is now dirty with years of remodeling projects. Fortunately the Cramer company still makes them! This is an extra strong stool, easily moved with the kick of a foot yet settles solidly on the ground when stepping on it. It looks great, you can leave it out in the room so there's access to every cupboard all the time. I don't cringe when my hubby stands on it - it has a 500 lb load capacity. Awesome price at $65. It is very easy to snap together. No tools required.

I love it! You can roll it around with your foot super easy but once you put weight on it it stops and you will not budge it. I feel very safe with it. Just like the ones they use in the libraries.

This is very easy to move around my kitchen. The height is perfect allowing me to get easy access to my top kitchen cabinets. The color options were great, my steel and black choice matches the color scheme of my kitchen.

This a a repeat purchase of the Kik-step stool. We have have one in our pantry that we have had for several years and I love it. We received our new Kik-step about a week ago and the first noticeable thing was that the quality does not seem to the be same. The design is the same but the construction does not seem to be as sturdy and the rolling ability seems to be a bit off. I am hopeful that it will stand up but at this point it is a question.

I suppose this is still a good product. I personally knew Roy Cramer the designer and manufacturer of this product and the one he gave us was excellent. That's why I ordered one. My one star ratings are based on Walmart's Online purchase experience. I never received the product! Never again will I attempt an online purchase from these folks. Love the store but they are a LOOONG way from being Amazon.
